Paver Supporting Apparatus
The invention relates to a paver supporting apparatus and generally includes a support structure having support surface, a modular grid, and a plurality of pavers positioned on the modular grid. The modular grid is positioned on and secured to the support surface and includes a body, an extension extending from one side of the body, and a plurality of fastener receiving passageways positioned through the body and the extension.
SEAMLESS ENCAPSULATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES FOR PAVING SURFACES
The present invention provides a photovoltaic module for paving surfaces that supports pedestrians and vehicles, comprising one or more photovoltaic cells interconnected in serial or in parallel and placed in the same plane including: an upper protective layer that is non-opaque and is seamlessly adhered to both the photovoltaic cells and another protective mounting layer that is and is seamlessly adhered from the bottom and sides. A further binding layer underneath the second protective layer, an anti-skid layer seamlessly adhered at the very top to the entire structure with irregular textures of various granularities, and a baseplate seamlessly adhered from the very bottom to the entire structure allow a glutinous material to be applied when paving a road surface with the disclosed modules.
System, apparatus and related method for raised ground cover mat
A ground cover mat for vehicles and equipment to cross over pipes, whether laid below or above ground, wherein the mat comprises two footing members spaced at a distance from each other. Each of the footing members define therein multiple peg holes, and each of the peg holes spaced at different distances from an outer edge of a given footing member. The mat also includes one or more span members. Each of the span members are positioned above and removably attached to the two footing members. Each of the one or more span members comprise at least two pegs that protrude downwards, wherein one of the pegs removably fit into a given peg hole defined in one of the two footing members and another one of the pegs removably fit into a given peg hole defined in another one of the two footing members.
Paver supporting apparatus
The invention relates to a paver supporting apparatus and generally includes a modular grid having a body and a plurality of planar adhesive receiving sections extending across a width thereof. The body includes a top surface, a bottom surface positioned opposite the top surface, a plurality of geometric lattices provided from a plurality of walls. The plurality of planar adhesive receiving sections are positioned between the geometric lattices and have a width greater than each of the plurality of walls.
Mats and connector systems thereof
Apparatus and methods related to mats and connects are described. The apparatus include a mat having a top side, a bottom side, and an interior defined between the top side and the bottom side, and at least one connector post extending within the interior of the mat, wherein the at least one connector post comprises a connector pin cavity extending within the interior of the mat and configured to receive a connector pin and at least one locking structure configured to engage with a portion of the connector pin and secure the connector pin to the at least one connector post.
MODULAR WALKWAY SYSTEM
A series of modules serve to provide a base for walkway members to be assembled into a walkway. Modules provide for support and orientation of walkway members and the ability to produce complex walkways with segments at varying orientations. In a preferred embodiment, a base mat is sized to engage walkway members. Using a combination of a number of base mats and walkway members, segments of walkway of any desired size can be readily assembled. Reflective and non-slip surfaces can be applied to increase safety when in use.
Plant tray
A planting system having a plurality of potting trays that can be interconnected in a modular fashion to create a multitude of different configurations. Each potting tray has a plurality of holes operatively connected with a conduit through which plumbing can be incorporated into the planting system to water plants in the potting trays via the plurality of holes. A plurality of pedestals may be used to elevate the planting system. Lateral braces may be used to interconnect the plurality of pedestals.
Modular platform deck for traffic
A modular assembly and method of installing a modular assembly is provided. The modular assembly can include a plurality of base members made of a plastic material, each base member including a top surface and a bottom surface opposite of the top surface, the bottom surface defining channels. A plurality of support members can be provided, each of the plurality of support members may extend across the plurality of base members and disposed within the channels of the plurality of base members. A mounting bracket can be configured to mount each of the plurality of support members to a metal plate of a lower support structure, the metal plate being received by a clamp of the mounting bracket. Each of the plurality of base members can adjoin one another to form a horizontal platform for traffic.
Phase transforming cellular matrix (PXCM) based tile design for a lightweight runway mat
A flexible runway mat system, including a plurality of base platforms, each respective base platform having a first pattern of phase transforming columns and voids extending from a respective flat member, and a plurality of plane-engaging runway platforms, each respective plane-engaging runway platform having a second, reversed pattern of phase transforming columns and voids extending from a respective flat member such that each respective plane-engaging runway platform is lockingly engagable to a respective base platform to yield a landing segment with parallel top and bottom flat members. Each respective phase transforming column is further comprised of a plurality of stacked operationally connected phase transforming cellular members. Each respective phase transforming cellular member can shift from a first stable configuration to a second stable configuration in response to an applied load.
Pedestal Mounted Paver Heating System
Some deck or patio areas constructed of payers mourned on adjustable pedestal supports must remain snow and ice free on their top surfaces. The pedestal-mounted paver heating system is designed to allow easy installation of electric heating cable that is positioned against the bottom surface of pavers so that heat generated by the cable is efficiently transferred up into the payers to raise their temperature enough to prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on their top surfaces.
