MONORAIL SYSTEM AND RELATED SCAFFOLD STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A monorail assembly includes a first scaffold system comprising at least one framework member being an elongated structure having a bottom chord and a plurality of panel points along the bottom chord; at least one monorail beam; and at least one bracket structure configured to secure to the at least one framework member at or about at least two panel points and to the at least one monorail beam.
CABLE-CLIMBING ROBOT
A cable climbing robot includes a climbing front body and a detection body. The climbing front body includes a front body rack, duct propellers, a front body clasping units and a front body control modules, the duct propellers are mounted on the outer side of the front body rack; the front body clasping unit includes a front body clasping electric motor, a front body clasping transmission component and a front body clasping member; the front body clasping electric motor is fixedly mounted on the front body rack, and the front body clasping electric motor drives the front body clasping member via the front body clasping transmission component; the front body control module is mounted on the front body rack, and the front body control module is electrically connected to the duct propellers and the clasping electric motor.
Suspension assembly
An adjustable suspension assembly for suspending a lower structure such as a platform from an upper structure such as a portion of a bridge. A chain, which is attachable at one end to the upper structure or to an end of a cable which is attachable at its other end to the upper structure, is attached at its other end to a device. The device, which is attachable to the lower structure, has a pair of aligned apertures in its side walls for receiving pins. The pins are spaced to receive a thickness of a chain link but not to receive a width of the link, whereby a selected link to achieve a desired lower structure height may be cinched between the pins. When the chain is attached to a cable, the cable has an eyelet formed by folding an end portion of the cable back over the cable and swaging the cable end portion to the cable. The chain is attached to said eyelet by receiving the end portion of the cable in one of the chain links before the cable end portion is swaged to the cable.
Articulating work platform support system, work platform system, and methods of use thereof
The invention includes a work platform and support system that includes a hub and joist configuration, wherein the hubs and joists are capable of articulation, or pivoting. One method of installation allows for sections of new work platform system to be extended from an existing suspended work platform system. The system is also capable of supporting, without failure, its own weight and at least four times the maximum intended load applied to it.
Adjustable scaffolding suspension assembly
An assembly of a sling detachably attached to an adjustment device for suspending one structure relative to another structure. The adjustment device comprises a pair of elongate spaced apart plates which are attached to each other and to a hook, for attachment to one of the structures, at the first end portion. Each plate has a plurality of pairs of longitudinally spaced aligned holes for receiving a pin for connecting one end of a sling to the adjustment device at a selected incremental one of the plurality of pairs of holes. The other end of the sling is connected to the other structure to adjust the distance over which the one structure is suspended relative to the other structure. To allow greater adjustability, two or more of the adjustment devices are joined end-to-end.
Scaffold for supporting a working platform for bridges
A scaffolding to be fastened to a bridge or the like deck structure comprises a boom system (2) for supporting the working platforms and the support structures needed for the work and for fastening the boom system of the fastening body (1) to the upper surface of the deck structure. The boom system (2) is connected to the fastening body via a swivel quadrangle (3, 6, 11, 12).
SCAFFOLDING ARRANGEMENT
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a scaffolding arrangement to be attached to a deck structure, comprising a set of aims (2) including a carrier beam (5) for carrying the working levels and support structures needed in work, an attachment frame (1) for attaching the set of arms to the upper surface of the deck structure and platforms (103, 104, 105) for forming working levels.
Bridge detecting vehicle with two foldable arms
A bridge detecting vehicle with two foldable arms, including: a vehicle body, slewing mechanisms, horizontal and vertical arms and telescopic arms. One end of the two horizontal arms is respectively arranged on the slewing mechanisms, and the other end of the two horizontal arms is respectively connected to the two horizontal arms. A crossed arm is provided between the two horizontal arms. The two vertical arms are respectively connected to the two horizontal arms via ball joints. A detecting device is respectively provided at rear ends of the two telescopic arms.
Method of suspending a platform from a bridge main cable
A platform and method for erecting a platform of support beams to which decking is applied so that it is suspended from at least one main cable of a bridge. Spaced slings are applied to the main cable so that each extends around the main cable. Ends of each of the slings are attached to a respective one of the support beams respectively. One end of a guy in the form of a cable is attached to at least one of the slings intermediate ends thereof. The guy is extended between the sling and an anchor point to restrain the sling from slippage along the length of the main cable.
Method for creating a wood platform on top of support brackets
A device for assisting to secure a bridge support bracket to a beam, the device comprising: a support frame, a hook to secure the support frame to the beam, a clamp to grasp and hold the bracket, and a pivot axle to pivotally connect the clamp to the support frame. When attaching at least two spaced apart such devices to the beam, then clamping a support bracket in each of the at least two spaced apart devices, both support brackets can be pivoted to a position where wood boards attached to the top of the support brackets are held in a not horizontal position. By then placing a wood stud in a position where it spans the two support brackets and attaching the wood stud to the respective bracket wood boards, a workman can then further pivot the support brackets to where the wood boards extend horizontally away from the beam.
