Stanchion or Post with a Spring-Loaded Assembly
A socket mounted post system including a post with a hollow base portion attached to a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism includes a pillar, the pillar having a finger extending from the hollow base portion. The finger is engageable with a socket that is mountable in a floor. The spring mechanism allows the post to flex angularly relative to a vertical orientation of the post.
PEDESTRIAN FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM
A pedestrian flow control system includes a first lateral boundary element and a second lateral boundary element, a passage for persons being formed between the lateral boundary elements; and a middle element arranged in the passage. The middle element is mounted at the bottom on a guide element oriented perpendicularly to the lateral boundary elements and can be moved along the guide element into at least a first position and a second position, is arranged between the lateral boundary elements and divides the passage into two aisles in the first position, openings the passage substantially over the whole width of the passage in the second position.
SIGN KIT FOR A BARRIER
A sign kit that includes a first barrier post, a second barrier post, a barrier member extending between the first post and the second post, and a sleeve for the barrier member, the sleeve being planar and rectangular and having a first end, a second end opposing the first end, a first edge extending from the first end to the second end, a second edge extending from the first end to the second end, an inner side, and an outer side. A fold line is formed along the sleeve extending parallel to the first edge and the second edge and from the first end to the second end. A fixing is provided adjacent the first edge for fixing the first edge to the second edge or to the inner side of the sleeve. Graphics are provided on the outer side of the sleeve to provide information or advertising.
BARRIER SIGN KIT
A barrier sign kit that includes a barrier post having one or more vertically oriented splines positioned on an outer side; and a rigid planar sign member having an aperture sized and shaped to securely mount the sign member on a spline. The planar sign member can be mounted on the spline of the barrier post to provide a simple sign mounting on the barrier post. The barrier post may be a conventional barrier post as used in existing queueing solutions. The sign member may be formed of rigid card or plastic.
SIGN MOUNTING FOR BARRIER POST
A sign mounting for mounting a sign on top of a barrier post that includes a body having an inner side for positioning against a barrier post and an outer side for supporting a sign; and a mounting channel formed on the inner side of the body. The mounting channel allows the sign mounting to be mounted onto and supported by a spline of the barrier post. The mounting channel is open at a lower end and closed at an upper end and has a relatively narrow vertical opening at an inner side extending from the lower end to the upper end for a spline to extend through, and a relatively wider inner portion extending laterally beyond the opening on each side of the vertical opening within which a spline can be positioned. The sign mounting may form part of a mounting kit that includes a barrier post.
STRUCTURAL BARRIER AND A METHOD OF INSTALLATION THEREOF
A structural barrier and energy absorbing device comprises a plurality of structural elements. The structural element alone or in a plurality may serve as a traversal impediment or energy absorbing device, such as a pedestrian barrier, vehicular barrier, anti-tank obstacle, ballistic barrier, or the like. The structural element may be a tetrapod such that it comprises an element body having four extension portions that extend outwardly from the interior center to a distal end, such that the structural element maintains an identical orientation and a low center of gravity in each of four resting positions. The structural element may be a solid-state structural element comprised of a particular material or a portable and collapsible structural element wherein the element body comprises an outer skin defining an interior void space, such that during set-up or installation the interior void space may be filled with a filler substance onsite.
SECURITY BARRIER LIGHT AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A system for restricting access to an area includes a security barrier with a security hood. The security hood includes a body having a plurality of openings, a plurality of lights positioned within the plurality of openings, a control module and a communications system. The lights may be recessed into the body. The control module changes the security hood between an inactive state and an active state. The control module controls the plurality of lights. The communications system receives data from a remote command location and provides the data to the control module. The data includes instructions for altering operation of the security hood. The communications system may include a satellite link.
Easily transported and assembled modular barrier
Building blocks are provided to be aligned so as to build a modular barrier to stop objects that are moving on a ground. Each building block comprises connecting bracket having at least two receiving pockets, at least one of which is laterally directed and at least another is directed in a predetermined angle, and plurality of poles configured to be received within the receiving pockets so that some of the poles are substantially parallel to the ground while the others are configured to be received within the receiving pockets that are directed in the predetermined angle so as to allow the modular barrier to stop the moving objects.
Guardrail Base
A base for a guardrail includes a base body including a receptacle for receiving and securing a part of a railing and one or more wheels coupled to the base body. The one or more wheels are configured for transportation of the base.
Barrier support for a queue management system
A barrier support for a queue management system that includes a post having an upright portion adapted to support at least one barrier device and having at its bottom end a foot and a floor plate. A lower portion of the foot and an upper portion of the floor plate are cooperatively shaped such that the lower portion of the foot can securely fit into and/or over the upper portion of the floor plate and thereby locate the post and one or more magnets are located in the foot and/or the floor plate such that the post can be magnetically secured to the floor plate. The barrier support allows a post to be properly positioned on a floor plate without danger of misalignment and then be held in that position magnetically. The floor plate is circular and has a single centrally located circular aperture faulted therein and the foot is circular and has a single centrally located cylindrical portion that is sized to securely locate in the aperture.
