Road Stud
Described is a road stud that can be provided at regular intervals on the surface of a road, such as the center line, edge, or branch line of a roadway. The road studs enable drivers to easily and visually identify lanes and to recognize lane departures or lane invasions through the sensation of vibration or auditory sensation of sound.

Vehicle-mountable cargo carrier for portable rumble strips
A cargo carrier for portable nimble strips that is mountable to a vehicle has a support surface that is configured to support multiple portable rumble strips. The support surface also is configured to move between a deployment position having a first width and a transit position having a second width that is less than the first width. The cargo carrier includes a frame that defines the support surface. In the illustrated embodiment, the support surface is divided along a major width dimension into at least three planar segments that are movable relative to one another to alter the overall width of the support surface, including a center portion and lateral portions extending from opposing sides of the center portion. The lateral portions are pivotably movable between extended positions aligned with the center portion in a horizontal orientation and retracted positions inclined relative to the center portion.

Modular travel warning strip system and methods
A modular highway warning strip system is formed of a plurality of segments assembled together to create a warning strip assembly having a length, wherein each of the plurality of segments are spaced from adjacent ones of the segments along the warning strip length. The segments are assembled together along a cord disposed along the length of the warning strip assembly. A plurality of spacers are disposed on the cord along the length of the warning strip assembly, between adjacent ones of the segments in order to maintain a spacing between each adjacent segment.

DIRECTIONAL WARNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A one-way recessed directional rumble strip system for controlling both direction and speed of traffic is described. The recessed directional rumble strip system includes a plurality of recessed directional rumble strips having a descending surface and a rumble face. Vehicles approaching the recessed directional rumble strip from a correct direction of travel are allowed to pass over the recessed directional rumble strip with little or no effect on the vehicle. Vehicles attempting to pass from the wrong direction will engage the features of the recessed directional rumble strip. This will affect an operating condition of the vehicle to change such as to cause a tactile and audible sensation to the driver. Indicia may be provided on the steep face to warn drivers that they are traveling in the wrong direction.

Road module for regulation of vehicle passability at a road section
A road module for regulating a passability of vehicles on a roadway. The road module includes an elongated container immersed across the roadway and having an upper plane being essentially at level with the roadway. A lid is pivotally arranged and hinged along an edge of the container. The edge extends along a longitudinal side of the container facing vehicles approaching the road module. The lid forms at least a part of the upper plane of the container. An eccentrically mounted cylindrical roller is configured to support the lid at an opposite longitudinal side of the container. The roller is rotatable between an upper or a lower position. An actuator is configured to rotate the roller to lower and raise the lid, thereby forming a downward ramp in a passing direction of the vehicles when the roller is in the lower position.
