A temporary flexible pavement marker comprising a base, a stand and a protective shield wherein at least part of the stand is reflective and the protective shield is configured to prevent materials sprayed down upon the temporary flexible pavement marker from obscuring the reflective part of the stand may be employed in the construction or repair of roads. Since the protective shield prevents asphalt from obscuring the reflective part of the stand during spraying operations there is no need for a technician to remove a protective layer from the markers after a spraying operation.

Pavement Marker
A pavement marker is disclosed that includes a base member, two opposite resilient members and an upright member, wherein the upright member has an ends that extend laterally from a central section and are received into the opposite resilient members. The base member is substantially planar with side rails and extends under the upright member and is adapted to receive and retain the resilient members. The resilient members hold the upright member in an upright position and allow for rotation of said upright member in response to a force applied to the upright member, and a central section of the upright member includes a reflective surface.
A ROAD MARKING AND A METHOD FOR ROAD MARKING
A road marking (10) has bristles (11) extending above a road surface level (12). The bristles (11) are attached below the road surface level (12), leaving a recess (13) between the road surface level (12) and the bristles (11). The recess (13) allows the bristles (11) to bend below the road surface level (12) during snowploughing. The forces exerted to the raised road marking (10) do not pull the bristles (11) or the whole road marking (10) assembly off the road surface.
The bristles (11) may be installed into the road surface by cutting a suitable cavity (15) into the road surface. A bottom portion of the cavity (15) is filled with a fluid adhesive, leaving the surface of the adhesive below the road surface. The bristles (11) are inserted in the fluid adhesive. After the adhesive has been cured, the bristles (11) stand proud from the road surface.

The automated rumble strip assembly also includes a plurality of elongate members disposed within the frame, wherein each elongate member includes an elongate member housing, an internal carriage assembly disposed within the elongate member housing and moveable within the elongate member housing, and an actuator assembly coupled to the internal carriage configured to move the internal carriage relative to the elongate member housing.

An automated rumble strip assembly includes a frame having a top surface configured to support a vehicle tire moving along the frame. The automated rumble strip assembly also includes a plurality of elongate members disposed within the frame, wherein each elongate member includes an elongate member housing, an internal carriage assembly disposed within the elongate member housing and moveable within the elongate member housing, and an actuator assembly coupled to the internal carriage configured to move the internal carriage relative to the elongate member housing.
Foreign object debris barrier for runways
A collapsible runway side barrier for preventing foreign object debris (FOD) from entering a runway and taxiway. The barrier may have an aerodynamic profile, one side of the barrier profile may be convex and the other side of the barrier profile may be concave. The side barrier may further have ground attachment elements and may be constructed to collapse if the landing wheels of an aircraft impact the barrier.
