High efficiency traffice sign with projection light source
A high efficiency traffic sign includes a retroreflective film and a diffuser film. The retroreflective film is located between the body of the traffic sign and the diffuser film so as to form an indication face. The traffic sign is located higher than a road and the indication face faces coining vehicles on the road. A projection light source module is located on one side of the road and emits a light beam toward the traffic sign and the light beam covers the indication face. The light beam passes through the diffuser film and reaches retroreflective film. The light beam is then reflected and passes through the diffuser film again, the diffuser film changes the reflective path of the light beam which passes through the diffuser film to form a diversified light beam to allow the drivers of the coining vehicles on the road to see the traffic sign clearly.

SECURITY BARRIER LIGHT AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A system for restricting access to an area includes a security barrier with a security hood. The security hood includes a body having a plurality of openings, a plurality of lights positioned within the plurality of openings, a control module and a communications system. The lights may be recessed into the body. The control module changes the security hood between an inactive state and an active state. The control module controls the plurality of lights. The communications system receives data from a remote command location and provides the data to the control module. The data includes instructions for altering operation of the security hood. The communications system may include a satellite link.
PORTABLE, SELF-ILLUMINATING TRAFFIC SIGN
A portable, self-illuminating traffic sign having a sign face with two opposite sides. One side indicates a first traffic signal, and the other side indicates a second traffic signal. Light assemblies are attached to each side of the sign. The light assemblies emit light that may match the predominant color of one of the sides of the sign. A battery may be disposed in a pole that connects to the sign. A handlegrip allows for the sign to be held and provides a switch to allow for the lights to be selectively turned on and off. The light assemblies are disposed within collar assemblies so as to reduce, or prevent, light emitted from the light assemblies reflecting off of the sign faces.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC WARNING AT A WORK ZONE
A system and method are set forth for traffic warning at a road construction work zone, comprising at least one a motion sensor associated with at least one traffic cone proximate the road construction work zone for transmitting laser pulses in a direction of oncoming traffic and detecting reflected laser pulses from the oncoming traffic and in response transmitting an alert signal, and a portable alert unit for receiving the alert signal and generating a warning of the oncoming traffic

Attachment system for attachment to a signaling device, and associated signaling system
An attachment system for attachment to a signaling device includes an attachment member. The attachment member is formed of a ring-shape made of an elastic material and includes an annular base and at least one fin. The annular base includes an external peripheral edge and a central orifice defining an internal peripheral edge. The annular base also includes an annular lower face and an annular upper face. The fin projects from the external peripheral edge of the annular base. The attachment member is movable between a rest configuration in which the annular base is planar and extends in a main plane to allow insertion and positioning on the signaling device at a selected position, and a deformed configuration in which the annular base is non-planar in a deformed state in order to be able to match a peripheral area of the signaling device.

Traffic director and system and method for use thereof
A traffic director includes a distal end and a proximal end, two or more sides extending upward from the proximal end at an angle toward the distal end, a proximal notch disposed near the proximal end between two adjacent sides, and the proximal notch forms a first flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include one or more recessed channels formed in at least one of the two or more sides. The one or more recessed channels forms a second flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include a removable indicator sleeve having an advertisement or directional indicator printed thereon.
