VEHICLE MOUNTED SWEEPER ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a fixed universal vehicle mounted sweeper assembly. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, the sweeper assembly includes a plurality of brush strips, wherein the brush strips are positioned in a series of rows, such rows spaced apart in substantially parallel arrangement. Each of the plurality of brush strips is mounted to an underside of the assembly via a plurality of receiving channels. Each such cavity is adapted for affixing brush strips to the sweeper assembly. The sweeper assembly is modular, such that the components of such assembly can be packaged in a standard utility skid, and assembled in such a way that the structural integrity of the completed sweeper assembly is maintained.
OPERATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC TRAVELING VEHICLE
An operation management system includes an automatic traveling vehicle and a management server. The vehicle includes a first processor, and is configured to transport at least one of people or luggage. The management server includes a second processor, and is configured to communicate with the vehicle and manage the operation thereof. The first processor or second processor is configured to: determine whether there is a transport task in which the vehicle transports at least one of people or luggage; and, when there is no transport task, execute a task switching process of causing the vehicle to execute any one of a patrol task in which the vehicle performs a patrol of an operating area of the vehicle, a cleaning task in which the vehicle performs a cleaning of the operating area, and a patrol cleaning task in which the vehicle performs both the patrol and the cleaning.
AUTOMATED ROAD SWEEPER AND ROAD CLEANING METHOD USING SAID ROAD SWEEPER
An automated road sweeper is provided including transport apparatus suitable to allow the sweeper to travel on a road surface including debris, a plurality of cleaning members arranged at fixed points located in different portions of the sweeper and suitable for cleaning within predetermined cleaning areas, and a selector operatively connected to the cleaning members, suitable for scanning the road surface and locating the debris so as to select and exclusively operate the cleaning members, the cleaning area of which covers the debris during the movement of the sweeper.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A CLEANING VEHICLE
A method for the operation of a cleaning vehicle, in particular a street sweeper capable of being operated in automated fashion, by a control device. A trajectory is calculated and control commands are produced for a longitudinal guiding and transverse guiding of the cleaning vehicle during travel of the calculated trajectory. Measurement data are received from at least one sensor in order to ascertain a cleaning region. At least one actuator is controlled, based on the received measurement data, in order to position a cleaning device of the cleaning vehicle in the longitudinal direction and/or transverse direction relative to a direction of travel of the cleaning vehicle, in order to clean the cleaning region. A control device, a computer program, and a machine-readable storage medium are also described.
Surface maintenance machine with removable storage
A coupling mechanism for removably coupling a storage cart to a surface maintenance machine includes a cart-side connector connectable to the storage cart and a machine-side connector connectable to the surface maintenance machine. The coupling mechanism includes a connecting rod engageable with the machine-side connector. The coupling mechanism includes a bracket assembly positioned between the cart-side connector and the machine-side connector. The bracket assembly can receive the connecting rod to engage therewith to facilitate a first relative movement between the connecting rod and a portion of the bracket assembly in a direction perpendicular to a floor surface on which the surface maintenance machine is traveling, and a pivoting of the bracket assembly about a pivot axis passing through the connecting rod.

Utility whisker broom
A first work tool arm is rotatably attached to a frame or reference structure, a second work tool arm rotatably attached to the first work tool arm, and a work tool attached to an end of the second work tool arm. An actuator and a spring are each rotatably attached to the second work tool arm and configured such that separate movement of the first work tool arm relative to the frame or reference structure and movement of the second work tool arm and work tool relative to the first work tool arm are achieved with actuation of the actuator.
