Excrement remover and bagger
A sanitary excrement removal and bagging system is provided that is capable of collecting multiple, individual portions of dog waste or other excrement and storing them within separate sealed packets of a flexible elongate bag. The excrement removal and bagging system includes a disposable bag and a waste collector including an elongate tube for supporting the disposable bag and a retraction mechanism for drawing the disposable bag into an interior space of the elongate tube. A retraction mechanism can pull the bag into the waste collector. As the bag is pulled into the waste collector, a bag sealing mechanism can close the bag at discrete locations along the length of the bag forming a series of pockets capable of safely and hygienically holding dog waste or other excrements. The bag sealing member can include heating elements for heating and welding the bag to seal the pockets.
Pickup stick assemblies
Pickup stick assemblies suitable for picking up objects and discharging the retrieved objects into a trash or other receptacle may include an assembly housing having a proximal housing end and a distal housing end. A spring retaining member may be disposed between the proximal housing end and the distal housing end. An assembly shaft may be slidably disposed in the assembly housing. The assembly shaft may have a proximal assembly shaft end protruding beyond the proximal housing end of the assembly housing and a distal assembly shaft end opposite the proximal assembly shaft end. The assembly shaft may be deployable in an extended shaft position in which the distal assembly shaft end protrudes beyond the distal housing end of the assembly housing and a retracted shaft position in which the distal assembly shaft end is recessed with respect to the distal housing end of the assembly housing. A shaft retention spring may be provided in the assembly housing. The shaft retention spring may engage the spring retaining member and the assembly shaft to normally bias the assembly shaft in the extended shaft position. At least one object retaining member may be provided on the assembly shaft at the distal assembly shaft end.
Cartridge-based pooper-scooper
A pooper scooper waste removal device comprising shell pieces with magnets and matching metal strips for removably housing an interior cartridge with a lid piece having an arrow-shaped locking tab and an interior cartridge base piece having a slot for receiving the tab and a plurality of parallel sticks for engaging the animal waste to be removed, such that the cartridge lid piece and the cartridge base piece are easily tab-locked to form a single disposable poop-filled cartridge box to be discarded, such that new interior cartridge pieces may then be loaded into the shell pieces for future waste removal.
Pooper scooper device and dog leash housing with a holder for a pooper scooper device
A re-usable pooper scooper device (1) and a dog leash (101) comprising said pooper scooper device (1) are disclosed. The pooper scooper device (1) is easily manufactured, compact and less cumbersome to carry than those of the prior art.
Litter scoop for non-clumping pelleted litters
A litter scoop for pelleted pet litters is provided. Embodiments include a scoop having a sieved top scoop portion, a solid bottom scoop portion, and a hollow tubular handle in fluid communication with the bottom scoop portion. The bottom scoop portion includes a floor having a back edge proximal to the back end of the scoop and in fluid communication with the handle, and a wall extending upward from the floor's side edges and leading edge. The top scoop portion has openings sized such that unused litter pellets cannot pass through the openings and used litter passes through the openings. The wall of the bottom scoop portion is shaped such that a leading edge and side edges of the top scoop portion are engageable with an upper edge of the wall such that the bottom scoop portion and the top scoop portion are spaced from each other.
Dog waste clean-up tool
A dog waste clean-up tool for retrieving solid waste from the ground is disclosed. A reusable canister with interior paper dividing walls is placed onto the dog waste with its opening and dividers facing down. The user presses the canister, and its dividers, into the waste by stepping on the bottom of the canister and placing weight onto the canister until waste adheres to the dividers. The user picks up the canister and places it onto a disposable lid. The soiled paper dividers and the lid are ejected from the canister into a garbage bin or a composting bin.
Excrement remover and bagger comprising an excrement lifting mechanism
A sanitary excrement removal and bagging system includes a waste collector having an elongate tube for supporting a disposable bag and a retraction mechanism for drawing the disposable bag into an interior space of the elongate tube. A retraction mechanism can pull the bag into the waste collector, and a bag sealing mechanism can close the bag at discrete locations along the length of the bag forming a series of pockets capable of safely and hygienically holding dog waste or other excrements. The bag sealing member can include heating elements for heating and welding the bag to seal the pockets. A lifting mechanism may scoop the dog excrement or other waste and hold the waste in an elevated position while the bag sealing mechanism seals the pocket.
