RAIL TRACK CLEANER VEHICLE
Presented is a rail track cleaner vehicle configured for cleaning rail area. The rail track cleaner vehicle includes a wheel assembly, a main frame, a liquid sprayer assembly, an air blower assembly, a vacuum assembly and an electric motor assembly. The rail track cleaner vehicle comprises a plurality of optical camera to capture real time image of the rail area. The rail track cleaner vehicle efficiently and effectively clean the rail area and enables a remote personnel to inspect the cleaning process. The rail track cleaner vehicle substantially reduces manual labor and effort to clean the rail area.
Surface Condition Monitoring Of Railway Tracks
A network of monitoring devices for monitoring the condition of the surface of railway track rails is described. A monitoring device includes a spectrometer configured to monitor at least one frequency that indicates the presence of a contaminant on a railway track rail and to provide an output indicative of the presence or absence of the contaminant on a railway track rail. The monitoring device also includes a transmitter arranged to transmit its output to a central database. The central database is configured to store data from the monitoring devices in the network over time, establishing historical data of track conditions as monitored by the monitoring devices. A comparator is configured to compare current track conditions over the network with historical track conditions over the network, providing an indication of likely developments of track conditions.

Surface Conditioning Of Railway Tracks Or Wheels
A surface conditioning device for railway track rails and/or railway vehicle wheels includes a DC power supply, a supply of gas, a plasma delivery head connected to receive DC power from the power supply and gas from the gas supply, and an igniter for igniting the gas in the plasma delivery head. In use, plasma is generated within the delivery head by ignition of the gas in the delivery head. Plasma with gas is blown from the delivery head onto a railway track rail and/or railway vehicle wheel, thereby conditioning the rail and/or wheel.

System and method for adjusting torque distribution
A system and method herein relate to vehicle control by adjusting a torque distribution of the vehicle. The system includes a first motor configured to provide a torque to a first wheel, and a delivery system configured to controllably apply a traction control compound to a route on which the first wheel is configured to travel. The system also includes a controller circuit having one or more processors. The controller circuit is configured to control the delivery system to apply the traction control compound to the route based on a monitored temperature of the first motor.

VEHICLE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RAILWAY TRACK CLEARING
A railway track clearing vehicle and associated systems and methods for removing unwanted material from a railway track wherein the vehicle includes: a propulsion mechanism and an autonomous control system for controlled propulsion of the vehicle along the track; an airflow system, configured to provide and direct an airflow through a conduit towards the railway track;
and a sensor system configured to provide information relating to unwanted material on an extent of a railway track. The sensor information is applied to provide and direct an airflow to the extent of the railway track to remove sensed unwanted material and to control the propulsion mechanism for travel on the extent of the railway track at a suitable speed according to continual feedback of the sensor information indicating a state of the unwanted material.
ROUTE CLEANING SYSTEM
A method for assessing contamination of a route includes imposing a first sliding value lower than a first threshold between one or more first wheels of a vehicle and the route, the one or more first wheels being the head the vehicle, imposing a second sliding value greater than a second threshold between one or more second wheels of the vehicle and the route, the one or more second wheels following the one or more first wheels and the second threshold being greater than the first threshold, and determining the trend of an adhesion curve between the one or more first wheels and the one or more second wheels and the route, based on a first adhesion value between the one or more first wheels and the route, and a second adhesion value between the one or more second wheels and the route.
