UNDERGROUND DRAIN TUBE SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION OF DRAIN TUBE SYSTEMS
Provided are methods and systems for draining underground soil moisture and water at a site. The methods and systems utilize a secured pipe system having a leading edge to drill the system into the earth, and perforations along portions of the surface of the system to receive accumulated water from underground and deliver it to the surface. A pipe cradle guide as provided is useful in the installation of the system. To also inject soil stabilizing materials (a mixture of sand and gel) into the earth using the secured pipe system, a removable canister is coupled to the distal end of the pipe system, and using water pressure the soil stabilizing materials are delivered to the soil by means of the secured pipe system.

SEGMENTAL METHOD FOR INSTALLING WICK DRAINS
The invention described herein includes materials and methods for segmental wick drain installation for versatile groundwater management. The invention comprises modified mandrels that may be coupled together for segmental installation wick drain installations to desired depths that are not achievable using currently known methods. Each modified mandrel is configured with a shoe coupler that may be permanently affixed to one end and configured with a means for securing the shoe coupler to a modified end of another mandrel. Each shoe coupler includes transverse bore holes through which set pins may be inserted that engage with an end of another modified mandrel with grooves corresponding to the locations of the bore holes when set pins are inserted. Once the wick drain is installed to the desired depth, the mandrels may be extracted and uncoupled by removing the set pins. The modified mandrels may be prefabricated and reused, ideal for multiple installations.

Drainage units wrapped in sunlight-impeding wrapping
A set of three tubular drainage units, each comprised of expanded recycled polystyrene aggregate which is gray in color, is wrapped in film which optionally compresses the drainage units radially and which impedes transmission of infra-red radiation to the aggregate when the drainage units are exposed to sunlight during shipping or storage.

Method and apparatus for field fabrication of socked perforated drains
A mobile fabrication solution for onsite assemblage of earth drains for ground stabilization that includes a despooling carousel for uncoiling corrugated tubing from a stock supply, and for feeding the stock tubing into an extrusion head unit. The head unit contains counter-rotating wheels that grip and drive the tubing out through a collet into a filter sock and into a collection trough. One end of a stock supply of fabric filter sock is attached to the collet exteriorly of the head unit to the collet and is unrolled along the trough. When the corrugated tubing is ejected it fills the sock within the trough and may be cut to the desired length onsite, eliminating waste.
