Membrane-lined wall
A membrane-lined wall for levee reinforcement or leak prevention, prevention of water migration, and pollution control of impoundments. The membrane-lined wall generally includes a cementitious or concrete wall formed within an excavated trench. The concrete may be internally reinforced, and the wall may also comprise a double-layer of impermeable geomembrane liner that forms a barrier between the concrete and the sides and bottom of the trench. The membrane or liner reduces water migration, prevents levee leakage, and prevents the escape of contaminants in impoundments.

Trough plate for constructing locked polymer anti-seepage wall and construction method of locked polymer anti-seepage wall
A trough plate for constructing a locked polymer anti-seepage wall includes a plate body, a guide tube, a grouting pipe and an anti-blocking head. A construction method of the locked polymer anti-seepage wall includes the steps of positioning an N.sup.th trough plate and then pressing the N.sup.th trough plate into ground, wherein N is a natural number larger than and equal to 1; engaging an (N+1).sup.th trough plate with the N.sup.th trough plate, and then pressing the (N+1).sup.th trough plate into the ground; connecting a grouting pipe of the N.sup.th trough plate with a grouting machine, pulling out the N.sup.th trough plate, and simultaneously grouting through the grouting pipe of the N.sup.th trough plate by the grouting machine; and repeating the steps (B) and (C) till the locked polymer anti-seepage wall is completed, wherein the steps (B) and (C) are repeated every time, N is automatically increased by 1.

SPLICE JOINT
A flexible and movable splice joint between edge aligned adjacent panels incorporates a flexible water sealing gasket and a flexible tensile member, which may be a strap or a cable or chain that allow the panels to move laterally and rotationally transversely relative to each other without damaging each other by such movements, and is particularly applicable to a plurality of assemblies of so joined panels that form raisable flood barriers to prevent flooding of land and improvements on the land by water rising from an adjacent body of water without permanently blocking a view of the waterscape.
Polymer expanding material used in infiltration or seepage watery environment and preparation method thereof
The present invention relates to a polymer expanding material in infiltration or seepage multi-water environment and a preparation method thereof, belonging to a technical field of polymer expanding foam materials. The polymer expanding material includes the following parts of materials by weight: 20-30 parts of rosin polyester polyol, 20-50 parts of isocyanate, 20-40 parts of PhireGuard® MB-512, 5-10 parts of HFO-1233zd, 1-2 parts of surfactant, 0.01-1 part of catalyst, and 0.01 parts of benzoyl chloride. The present invention has high sand fixing body strength, fast curing speed, good elastoplasticity, good pouring property and permeability, and good expanding property, which is suitable for infiltration or seepage multi-water environment, especially for dam infiltration, piping, and other problems during construction and subsequent operation of water conservancy projects.
Method and apparatus for installing end seals
An end seal placement tool for placing an end seal in a host pipe within a manhole includes a pole with opposite proximal and distal ends. An end seal holder is disposed at the distal end of the pole. The end seal holder includes an end seal chamber configured to hold the end seal. The end seal holder is sized and shaped to be at least partially inserted into the host pipe. A launcher is arranged with respect to the end seal holder for ejecting the end seal from the end seal holder into the host pipe.

Flood defence
A stowable flood barrier system comprising: first and second barrier modules each comprising a frame and a barrier panel pivotable with respect to the frame between a stowed position and a deployed position, in which deployed position a base of the barrier panel is sealed against the frame and a free edge of the barrier panel extends clear of the frame to present a barrier segment between lateral edges of the barrier panel, wherein the first and second barrier modules are sealable together in the deployed position along the lateral edges of their respective barrier panels to form a linked flood barrier.
