Boat dock bumper and method of using the same
11814805 · 2023-11-14 ·

A boat dock bumper assembly configured for mounting on a boat dock and protecting a boat against damage from impacts with a side surface and a lower surface of the dock. The bumper assembly includes a clamp frame, an upper jaw, and a bumper. The upper jaw is movably coupled to the clamp frame for clamping a boat dock between the upper jaw and a lower jaw of the clamp frame. The bumper is joined to the clamp frame and has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper and lower portions of the bumper may be integral or separable. The bumper is configured to absorb impacts from collisions between the boat and the dock. A method of protecting a boat against damage from impacts with a side surface and a lower surface of a boat dock using the bumper assembly.

20220258842 · 2022-08-18 ·

The present invention is a blocking device where a block with a handle is attached to a wire and the wire is attached to a spring attached to a boat, dock, or barge. Multiple blocking devices are positioned on a boat, dock, or barge. When a person falls in the water the block is thrown in the water to prevent the person from being crushed. The block also may be in a holder.

Fender, maritime structure, method for manufacturing
11136095 · 2021-10-05 · ·

Fender for protecting an object from damage comprising a core of at least a closed cell foam part, an intermediate layer fully enclosing the core comprising at least a fiber reinforced cloth, a coating that at least partly covers the intermediate layer. The invention also relates to a fixed or floating maritime structure provided with such a fender and to a method for manufacturing such a fender.

Floating boat telescopically extendable fender reducing marine growth
10982401 · 2021-04-20 ·

A boat fender having a fender body of first and second concentric tubes, telescopically joined, for strength and extra length for large tidal variations. The fender body is supported on a ballast of sufficient buoyancy to keep the fender body above the water line to reduce or prevent marine growth, such as barnacles, during operation. The boat fender body is vertically supported by a bracket with a lateral spacer that is attached to a mooring facility, minimizing the fender body from contacting the mooring facility from wave action.

Aquatic structure

Aquatic Structures are disclosed that include a nonwoven fiber mat, a connecting material, an anchor and a protective coating. The nonwoven fiber mat may be in the form of a roll having multiple layers and the connecting material may connect those layers. The roll may be submerged in a body of water and the anchor may be connected to a floor of the body of water. Uses of those aquatic structures are also taught.
