SOIL-DISPLACEMENT DRILL AND METHOD FOR FORMING A SMOOTH FOUNDATION PILE WITH SUCH A SOIL-DISPLACEMENT DRILL
The present disclosure relates to a soil displacement drill comprising a drill pipe; a widening at one end of the drill pipe that is provided with (1) a screw blade for screwing the drill into the substrate, and (2) an outlet opening for the passage of material that is introduced for forming the foundation pile; and a flap that is movable between a first position for allowing unhindered screwing of the drill into the substrate and a second position for preventing the material from entering a screw groove. The screw groove is formed in the substrate by the screw blade during unscrewing of the drill from the substrate. The disclosure further relates to a method for forming a smooth foundation pile using such a drill.
MODULAR PANEL BASEMENT SHORING APPARATUS
Basement shoring apparatus has a modular panel having a panel body having a plurality of parallel drill rod shafts therethrough. Each drill rod shaft has a respective drill rod rotatably engaged therein. Each drill rod extends from a lower edge of the panel body and has a respective auger or cutting head attached at a distal end thereof. Each drill rod is connectable via an upper edge of the panel body for turning. Adjacent drill rods extend to different extent such that blades of respective augers overlap adjacently. As such, modular panel can be drilled into the ground to form shoring wall.
Soil-displacement drill, method for converting a soil-displacement drill and method for forming a foundation pile
Disclosed herein is a soil-displacement drill for soil-displacing drilling in a surface in order to form a foundation pile, comprising a drill pipe, a drill head at an end of the drill pipe with several flap leaves which are pivotable between a closed position for closing off the end of the drill pipe and an open position for making this end freely accessible, and one or several closing elements to keep these flap leaves in their closed position and prevent pivoting of the flap leaves which are configured to fail during drilling into the surface in such a way that these closing elements do not impede pivoting of the flap leaves. Additionally, disclosed herein is an assembly of a drill head and one or several closing elements for such a soil-displacement drill, a method for soil-displacing drilling, and a method for converting a soil-displacement drill to form such a soil-displacement drill.
Construction method
The invention relates to a construction method, in which an excavation pit is produced in the ground and in the excavation pit foundation elements are produced at predetermined working points with at least one working apparatus. According to the invention provision is made in that in a computer unit the dimensions of the excavation pit, the working points and the dimensions of the at least one working apparatus are entered and in that in the computer unit a required workspace for the at least one working apparatus and an open space in the excavation pit are determined automatically.
WORKING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR WORKING THE GROUND
The invention relates to a working machine and a method for working the ground with the working machine, having a mast, along which, by means of a positioning means, a power rotary head is moved vertically, by which a telescopic Kelly rod having at least two Kelly bars is displaced and guided, wherein, for the purpose of torque transmission, the Kelly bars are provided on their external and/or internal sides with axially running drive keys as well as locking recesses on the drive keys and/or axial latch elements which are moved into the locking recesses for axially locking the Kelly bars or moved out of the locking recesses for unlocking. According to the invention provision is made in that by means of a control a locking state of the Kelly bars is checked automatically, wherein by the control the positioning means of the power rotary head and/or the main rope winch are actuated so that the Kelly bars are moved axially relative to each other, in that by means of a detection means a movement distance of the Kelly bars with respect to each other and/or an axial force during movement of the Kelly bars are axially detected, and in that depending on the detected movement distance and/or the detected axial force a locking state of the Kelly bars is ascertained by the control.
RETAINING WALL SYSTEM, METHOD OF SUPPORTING SAME, AND KIT FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTING SAME
A method is for supporting a retaining wall that includes a number of wall blocks positioned to retain material against a rear side of the plurality of wall blocks. The method includes attaching the rear side of at least one of the wall blocks to at least one ground-stabilizing base body supporting the wall blocks. Kits and systems are also disclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HEATING THE GROUND
A frost removal system is for thawing frozen ground and a method removes frost from a selected area of frozen ground. The method can include providing at least one heat transfer device; auguring a hole into the frozen ground to at least a depth of the frost.
The at least one heat transfer device is lowered into the selected area of frozen ground and self-augured to the predetermined depth. The at least one heat transfer device is heated and the heat is allowed to travel along a length of the at least one heat transfer device. Heat is applied from the at least one heat transfer device for thawing the selected area of frozen ground until the frost is removed. The removal system may also be used to remove moisture from saturated soil and to bake columns of soil with increased load-bearing capacity.
SOIL DISPLACEMENT PILES
Soil displacement piles having a shaft and one or more soil displacement assemblies secured to the shaft are provided. If more than one soil displacement assembly is utilized, each soil displacement assembly is separated by a longitudinal distance. Each soil displacement assembly has an upper helical plate, a lower helical plate and separated from the upper helical plate by a longitudinal plate distance, and at least one soil displacement plate positioned relative to the shaft, the upper helical plate and the lower helical plate.
Pile-forming method for compound extruded and expanded pile and pile-forming equipment for compound extruded and expanded pile
A pile-forming method for a compound extruded and expanded pile, comprising using a compound extrusion and expansion drilling tool of pile-forming equipment for a compound extruded and expanded pile to drill, extrude, and expand to form a bore, wherein when upwardly rotating and lifting, expansion bodies of the compound extrusion and expansion drilling tool enlarge, and at the same time, a concrete pump is started up to pour a pile material under pressure into the pore for the pile, to reach a pile top mark height, obtaining a compound extruded and expanded pile.
