Below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and having improved low reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same
The present invention relates generally to a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and low reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive, and having at least one layer of low reflectivity granular particle layer that are fully or partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is about 50 or below 55 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The inventive waterproofing layer having the waterproofing sheet membrane, and an adhesive layer having embedded therein low reflectivity granular particles can be used in any building or wall construction, and can be placed under or around a foundation of a building or dwelling or on its below grade blind side retaining walls, etc.
WATERPROOF SHEET AND METHOD FOR WATERPROOFING CONSTRUCTION
A waterproof sheet which comprises a base layer constituted of a silicone rubber and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer superposed thereon and which is for use in preventing the infiltration of rainwater, etc., characterized in that the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is constituted of a cured object of an addition reaction type curable silicone composition in which the theoretical amount of crosslinks is 0.005-0.01 mol/g and the ratio of the amount of SiH groups to the amount of alkenyl groups, SiH/alkenyl, is 0.5-1.1 by mole and which, when cured, has a hardness as measured with a CSR-2 type hardness meter of 3-20. This waterproof sheet can be used over a long period without decreasing in physical property, and has waterproofing properties over a long period. In particular, by delimiting the hardness and adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the waterproof sheet can be made to withstand long-term use. The waterproof sheet exhibits excellent durability concerning pressure-sensitive adhesive properties especially in high-humidity or high-temperature environments.
MULTILAYER MEMBRANE FOR CONSTRUCTION
A multilayer membrane may be suitable for construction, and/ir adapted to be installed between a wall of a seat obtained in the ground and a concrete structure. The multilayer membrane may include: a first layer including thermoplastic polymeric material, impermeable or substantially impermeable to water; a second layer including thermoplastic polymeric material, impermeable or substantially impermeable to methane gas and/or radon gas and/or volatile organic compounds (VOC), fixed to the first layer and adapted to be positioned, when the membrane is installed, between the first layer and a concrete structure.
Wedge-weldable manufactured composite having synthetic vegetation and impermeable geomembrane
A manufactured composite comprising synthetic turf and impermeable geomembrane is used in a single-layer capping system as the single layer to provide permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site. During installation of composite pieces at a job site, an edge portion of a tufted section of a second composite piece is overlaid onto an edge untufted section of the first composite piece already laid and anchored over foundation soil to form a reinforced overlapping seam, through which the two composite pieces are physically and permanently joined together. As composite pieces are joined together, the continuity of synthetic grass and the continuity of impermeability are extended and realized over the entire site to form permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site.
TP-FREE MONOPILE AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
Offshore structure comprising a pile of a foundation and at least one offshore element, mounted on the pile, forming a slip joint, wherein between an inner surface of the offshore element and an outer surface of the pile: a coating, especially an anti-fouling coating is provided, increasing friction between the said two surfaces and/or preventing corrosion of one or both of said surfaces and/or at least two spaced apart areas are provided with a substance, forming a seal between the said outer surface and the said inner surface, near an upper end of the pile and the off shore element and between a lower end of the off shore element and the pile.
Landscaping walls, systems and methods
Landscaping walls, systems and methods of manufacturing and installation of such walls include in aspects a fiberglass based wall having a decorative front side and a back side having at least one conduit where the conduit receives a cable or fastener extending outward from both ends of the conduit to connect to a stake to be inserted into ground adjacent the wall. The conduit in one aspect is a PVC tube mounted vertically against the wall and in aspects is embedded within the wall. The conduit allows for self-adjustment of the cable while also providing solid anchoring of the wall to prevent movement. The wall and system is lightweight, good looking and easy to install.
BUILDING PRODUCTS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR PROVIDING CONTOURED AND ELEVATED FEATURES FOR ARTIFICAL SURFACES
A modular foundation structure for artificial surface systems may include a plurality foundation sections. Each of the foundation section may comprise a structure base layer, an adhesive layer, and an impact and thermal protective layer. The adhesive layer may cover the structural base layer, and the impact and thermal protective layer may be attached to the structural base layer via the adhesive layer. The foundation sections may be provided as separate foundation sections that may be positionable to be attached to one another to form the modular foundation structure. The foundation sections may be attachable one another with a section adhesive. Embodiments may include a connection edge that may be positioned to surround and abut a perimeter of the modular foundation structure. Embodiments may also include an artificial surface layer that may be positioned to cover an upper surface area of the modular foundation structure.
Protection method against rain erosion for soil slope improved by phosphogypsum and microbe
The present invention provides a method for protecting a soil slope from rain erosion by improving with phosphogypsum and a microbe. The method includes: (1) placing Bacillus pasteurii in a culture medium to prepare a microbial solution, and mixing urea, calcium chloride and water to prepare a cementing solution; (2) mixing a mixture, the microbial solution and water well, and adding the cementing solution and water to prepare an improving mixture slurry; and (3) spraying the improving mixture slurry to a face of the slope twice by wet spraying, mixing the improving mixture slurry with grass seeds well, spraying to the face of the slope once, covering with a non-woven fabric by tying and fixing to the slope, and watering every day.
