Method for renovating the interior of a hollow structure
A method for renovating the interior of a hollow structure such as a sewerage pit (1) is described. The method provides an access opening (16) to the hollow structure (1); provides a plurality of material sheets (3) comprising reinforcing fibers and a curable resin composition through the access opening (16) and against a wall (11a, 11b) of the hollow structure (1); and provides an inflatable pressure means (4a, 4b) within the hollow structure (1). The pressure means (4a, 4b) are inflated against the wall (11a, 11b). A curing means (6) is then provided within the hollow structure (1) for curing the resin composition; and the resin composition is cured to harden the material sheets and provide a renovated interior of the hollow structure (1).
Composite manhole cover with embedded detection
A composite manhole cover includes a body made of a polymer that has a mass of magnetic material embedded there within. The mass of magnetic material is detectable by a metal detector and, therefore, the composite manhole is locatable by the metal detector when the composite manhole cover is obscured by a material such as pavement, dirt, sand, grass/sod, etc.
COMPOSITE MANHOLE COVER WITH EMBEDDED DETECTION
A composite manhole cover includes a body made of a polymer adapted to accommodate an embedded magnetic material embedded as well as function enhancing electronics.
System and method for real-time displacement control using expansive grouting techniques
The present disclosure relates to a method for real-time compensation for ground movements which would otherwise adversely affect an existing built environment. Embodiments may include providing a plurality of holes in soil for the injection of a substance that expands as a consequence of a chemical reaction. The plurality of holes may be located between a source of movement and an asset to be protected. Embodiments may also include injecting, in at least one of the plurality of holes, the substance and monitoring, in real-time, at least one of movement of the soil or the asset to be protected. Real-time monitoring may occur during an activity that is causing the ground movements. Embodiments may further include obtaining real-time monitoring data, based upon, at least in part, the monitoring.

Earth retention levee system
An earth retention levee system is disclosed which is constructed from spaced apart facing parallel walls of interlocking sheet piles (1, 2) said sheet piles having outside faces (5) and inside faces (4) formed with gridspines (10) along a longitudinal extent thereof, said gridspines (10) being connected to adjacent edges of geogrids (20) which link said parallel walls and stabilise fill (21) disposed therebetween.
Tanning ledge support structure
A swimming pool assembly, including a swimming pool body defining a pool top edge and an oppositely disposed bottom pool floor member connected by at least one pool wall and having a shallow deck portion and a support structure for providing support to the deck portion operationally connected to the deck portion and extending away from the pool top edge. The support structure further includes a support structure floor member, at least one support structure wall member extending therefrom and connected to the shallow deck portion to define an enclosure, and at least one fluid access aperture formed through the support structure wall member to provide fluidic communication with the enclosure.
Liner
A liner for a manhole cover is made up of stackable sections. Each stackable section is formed of a plurality (e.g. 4) pieces. Each piece comprises a first arm and a second arm which are substantially perpendicular to one another, the first arm being longer than the second arm, and both arms comprising connection means to allow the pieces to be connected together. The respective dimensions of the first arm and the second arm are chosen such that, when the piece is incorporated into a stackable section comprising three other corresponding pieces that are connected to each other in a sequence of a second arm of one piece connected to the first arm of an adjacent piece to form a quadrilateral stackable section, a further corresponding piece can fit within the stackable section along an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first arm. Further corresponding pieces can thus be arranged within a complete stackable section to maximize the number of pieces that can be transported in a given space.
