COMPACTION-BASED DYNAMIC AUTOMATED COMPACTION PLAN
A method for controlling a compactor machine can include inputting a compaction specification into a controller for compacting a work area; inputting a compaction target value into the controller; while compacting, evaluating an actual compaction value; and if the actual compaction value reaches the compaction target value, the controller being configured to turn off a vibratory system of the compactor machine while the compactor machine finishes any further passes over the work area as specified by the compaction specification.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRAVELING OPERATION OF A SELF-PROPELLED GROUND COMPACTION MACHINE, AND GROUND COMPACTION MACHINE
Methods for controlling the traveling operation of a self-propelled ground compaction machine with the aid of a control unit which provides travel control signals to a travel drive system of the ground compaction machine. The ground compaction machine may alternatively be operated in an operator mode in which travel specifications specified by an operator via a manually operable input device are transmitted to the control unit and are transmitted by the latter in the form of travel control signals to the travel drive system of the ground compaction machine. A ground compaction machine, in particular a vibratory plate or a trench roller.
PLATE COMPACTOR
A compactor includes a plate, a vibration mechanism configured to impart a vibrating motion on the plate, and a housing configured to support control electronics therein and defining a battery receptacle upon which a battery pack is connectable. The control electronics are configured to selectively activate the vibration mechanism using electrical current from the battery pack. A frame extends between the plate and the housing, and a vibration isolator is disposed between the housing and the frame and configured to vibrationally isolate the housing from the frame.

Control apparatus for soil compacting apparatus
A control apparatus for a soil compacting apparatus such as a vibratory plate has a movable operating element for specifying a running direction of the soil compacting apparatus by way of an operator, and having a hydraulic master device, with a master cylinder, in which a master piston can be moved to and fro in a linear manner, in order to generate a hydraulic signal. A hydraulic connector serves for coupling hydraulic components of the soil compacting apparatus and for transmitting the hydraulic signal from the master device. A transmission device is provided for converting the movement of the operating element into a linear movement of the master piston, it being possible for the operating element to be moved between a first position (V) and a second position (R). The first position corresponds to a maximum forward movement of the soil compacting apparatus, and the second position corresponds to a maximum reverse movement of the soil compacting apparatus. A latching device is provided for releasably holding the operating element in a predefined position, for example the first position.
System and method for performing operations on a worksite surface
A method includes receiving first information indicative of a location of a perimeter of a worksite surface, and receiving second information indicative of compaction requirements specific to the worksite surface. The method also includes generating a compaction plan based at least partly on the first and second information. Such a compaction plan includes a travel path for a compaction machine. In such a method, the travel path is substantially within the perimeter of the worksite surface. The method also includes causing at least part of the travel path to be displayed via a control interface of the compaction machine. The method further includes receiving an input indicative of approval of the travel path, and controlling operation of the compaction machine on the worksite surface, in accordance with the compaction plan, based at least partly on receiving the input.
