METHOD AND SYSTEM OF UNDERGROUND DEPLOYMENT OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
Jet grouting involves injecting grout into geological material to improve its quality; however, use of jet grouting is limited to situations in which the injection systems can be positioned relatively close to the region to be improved. This can be impractical (for example in heavily built up areas, rough terrain or beneath the seabed) or inconvenient (for example where closing a tunnel would be required). The present invention enables deployment equipment 41 to be passed down a bore in order to deploy material and/or equipment through a hole in the lining of a bore 43 into the underlying geology. In this way, underground assets may be repaired from a location external to the asset, allowing repair in situations where it would be impossible or cost-prohibitive to do so with conventional ground treatment techniques.

Stone column foundation system for collapsible soils
The foundation system includes a below ground rigid raft foundation to bear a load for an above ground structure, and granular cushions and piles formed below the raft foundation. The granular cushions are configured for uniform load distribution of the raft foundation and the piles are configured to bear a load of the above ground structure and the raft foundation. The foundation system further includes stone columns encapsulated with a non-woven geofabric and configured to stabilize the raft foundation. The raft foundation is disposed adjacent and above the stone columns, the granular cushions are present between neighboring stone columns, and the granular cushions are present between the stone columns and the piles. The stone columns have a cementing agent for stabilization.
Stabilizing structural fills
Stabilized structures and fills are disclosed relating to erosion control that include multiple interlock units and fibers that interact with those interlock units. Combinations of interlock units, fibers, and other optional fill materials may be used to stabilize a vulnerable earthen slope. Various fiber tensions act on the interlock units tending to hold the interlock units together and tending to hold the interlock units in position on the slope.

System and method for injecting expanding resins into soils to be consolidated
A system for injecting expanding resins into soils to be consolidated, includes a pump apparatus which is operationally associated, at a delivery port, with a tubular element which can be inserted into a respective hole defined in the soil to be consolidated and is adapted to send to the tubular element a mixture at a preset supply pressure. The tubular element has a number of holes, at least two of the holes including respective calibrated holes.

System and method for mitigation of liquefaction
A method for the reduction of liquefaction potential within soil of a stratum located a distance deep below a foundation of a structure through the injection of a two-part polyurethane liquid forming a polymer foam.

Preventing or reducing plant growth by biocementation
The present invention primarily relates to the use of a mixture capable of biocementation as a means of preventing or reducing plant growth, preferably weed growth. The invention also relates to a method for preventing or reducing plant growth, preferably weed growth, on/in a substrate.
