FREE-FLOWING WATERPROOFING SYSTEM
A water management system provides much improved waterproofing drainage system particularly, but not limited to foundations, new or existing. The includes a form, clean washed stone, soil separating filter cloth, backfilling soil, and drainage pipe to drain out all water away from the structure. This system is easily installed and creates an even “wall” of gravel around structural walls minimizing the costs of materials making it very cost-effective. This system removes all hydrostatic pressure from structural walls eliminating the cause of water infiltration to the interior of basement walls. Water infiltration in basement walls results in mold, mildew, high humidity, and poor air quality.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FOUNDATION DRAINAGE
A drainage system to be installed against a foundation of a building. The drainage system includes a drainage board having a plurality of channels extending from a bottom side along a front face thereof, and a portion of filter fabric attached to a rear face of the drainage board that covers the front face of the drainage board. The plurality of channels comprise a plurality of left channels and a plurality of right channels that intersect to form a crisscross pattern.
INTEGRATED WATERPROOFING AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH INTRINSIC LEAK DETECTION FOR BUILDING STRUCTURES AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures are directed to a factory-controlled process for making improved, risk-optimized commercial-building waterproofing systems. The improved waterproofing-panel systems also include improved intrinsic leak-detection capabilities.
Below grade, blind side, improved dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a bentonite sheet waterproofing membrane, and a sheet membrane with adhesive to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same
The present invention relates to a below grade, blind side, improved dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a secondary membrane comprising of a bentonite sheet waterproofing layer, and a primary membrane comprising of a sheet membrane having an adhesive to fully bond to a concrete/shotcrete. The invention encompasses a dual layer or dual membrane system that acts as a barrier, and prevents, and blocks water and moisture, from passing from one side of the structure to the other side. The dual barrier layer system can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The invention can be used between a concrete or shotcrete layer and the surrounding earth, such as, along an area that has a high water table, or a constant hydrostatic pressure, or high ground moisture, that may creep into a foundation or a wall.
DRAIN ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN AN OUTDOOR SETTING
A drain assembly capable of being placed inground includes a first panel and a second panel spaced-apart from the first panel, a plurality of supports extending between the first panel and the second panel, a bottom or pipe extending between a bottom portion of the first panel and the second panel, and a cap extending between a top portion of the first panel and the second panel. The first panel may define a plurality of drainage apertures. A related method is also provided.
MAINTAINING WATER BARRIER ABOVE RISING WATER
An arrangement for causing a water impermeable barrier conventionally lain on a ground surface to float above rising water or flooding, rather than being entrapped above the barrier, is shown and described. This invention applies particularly to ground coverings in building crawl spaces. In an embodiment, one or more floats are placed below the water impermeable barrier and above the ground. When flood waters recede, the float(s) and the water impermeable barrier return to their preflood locations above the ground surface. Floats may comprise blocks, sheets, strips, and other configurations of closed cell polymeric foam, for example. The float or floats may be coupled to the water impermeable barrier or alternatively, may be left decoupled therefrom.
Composite drainboard for blindside application, and foundation assembly
A composite drainboard includes a patterned substrate core having an inward surface, and opposed outward facing surface. The substrate core comprises a plurality of projections, forming concavities on the inward surface. A first geotextile membrane is attached to the substrate core and covers the outward facing surface. A second membrane is attached to the substrate core to cover the inward facing surface and the concavities to provide a substantially smooth coating to the inward surface. The second membrane at least partially absorbs a liquid applied waterproofing.
UNDERLAY CUSHIONING SHEET AND WATERPROOF STRUCTURE
An underlay cushioning sheet that is arranged on the surface of a foundation and that has a waterproof coating film formed thereon. The underlay cushioning sheet includes a cushioning layer having an overlay surface and a curing acceleration layer having a coating film formation surface on the opposite side from the overlay surface. A waterproof coating film including a polyurethane resin is formed on the coating film formation surface of the curing acceleration layer by applying a one pack-type liquid waterproofing material. The curing acceleration layer includes a reactive material capable of reacting with the liquid waterproofing material. The reactive material either (1) includes a functional group capable of reacting with an isocyanate included in the liquid waterproofing material or (2) reacts with a latent curing agent included in the liquid waterproofing material and generates a functional group capable of reacting with the components of the liquid waterproofing material.
MULTILAYER MEMBRANE FOR CONSTRUCTION
A multilayer membrane may be suitable for construction, and/ir adapted to be installed between a wall of a seat obtained in the ground and a concrete structure. The multilayer membrane may include: a first layer including thermoplastic polymeric material, impermeable or substantially impermeable to water; a second layer including thermoplastic polymeric material, impermeable or substantially impermeable to methane gas and/or radon gas and/or volatile organic compounds (VOC), fixed to the first layer and adapted to be positioned, when the membrane is installed, between the first layer and a concrete structure.
Below grade, blind side, improved dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a sheet membrane with adhesive to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same
The present invention relates generally to an improved below grade, blind side, dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a sheet membrane with adhesive to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a dual membrane system that acts as a barrier, and prevents, and blocks water and moisture, from passing from one side of the structure to the other side. The innovative barrier layer system can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The invention can be most effectively used between a concrete or shotcrete layer and the surrounding earth, such as, along an area that has a high water table or ground moisture or hydrostatic pressure that may creep into a foundation or a wall. The inventive system comprises two different waterproofing layers, and materials.
