WATERPROOF SHEET AND METHOD FOR WATERPROOFING CONSTRUCTION
A waterproof sheet which comprises a base layer constituted of a silicone rubber and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer superposed thereon and which is for use in preventing the infiltration of rainwater, etc., characterized in that the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is constituted of a cured object of an addition reaction type curable silicone composition in which the theoretical amount of crosslinks is 0.005-0.01 mol/g and the ratio of the amount of SiH groups to the amount of alkenyl groups, SiH/alkenyl, is 0.5-1.1 by mole and which, when cured, has a hardness as measured with a CSR-2 type hardness meter of 3-20. This waterproof sheet can be used over a long period without decreasing in physical property, and has waterproofing properties over a long period. In particular, by delimiting the hardness and adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the waterproof sheet can be made to withstand long-term use. The waterproof sheet exhibits excellent durability concerning pressure-sensitive adhesive properties especially in high-humidity or high-temperature environments.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING A WATERPROOFING SYSTEM TO SHORING FOR AN EXCAVATION WALL
System and method for mounting a waterproofing system comprising a waterproof membrane to shoring for an excavation wall. The mounting system comprises an induction disc having a conductive element, a first disc surface coated with an adhesive, and a second disc surface opposite the first disc surface. A target patch is affixed to the first disc surface by induction welding. The target patch has an outer portion which extends beyond the periphery of the induction disc. The outer portion is affixed to the waterproof membrane. A first hydrophilic washer is secured between the waterproof membrane and the second disc surface of the induction disc. A second hydrophilic washer is secured between the target patch and a rigid washer. A mounting fastener, such as a lag bolt screw, screw, bolt or nail, extends through each of the components and is fastened to the shoring.

In-situ barrier device with internal injection conduit
The present invention provides a multi-layer barrier assembly or device for post-installation injection of a resin, grout, or other fluid. The barrier device comprises first and second layers defining an intermediate open-matrix layer, and at least one injection conduit member in parallel orientation with respect to the first and second layers and having openings for injecting fluid into the intermediate open-matrix layer. The injection conduit may be located between and in parallel orientation with respect to the first and second layers, along an edge of the first and/or second layers, along an outer face of the first layer (if the first layer is a woven or nonwoven fabric), or at any combination of these locations, to enable fluid to be conveyed into the intermediate open-matrix layer. The invention also provides for use of a gel activator within the barrier device cavity, such as pre-installed on open-matrix structure which used for separating the first and second layers of the barrier device, such that a highly flowable injection fluid can be introduced into the device, and its gelation or hardening will be initiated or accelerated by the presence of the gel activator. This will allow for low power grout pumps to be used and facilitate the sealing of fine cracks in the surrounding concrete.
