DUAL LAP HIGH STRENGTH ADHESIVE FOR SHEET MEMBRANE APPLICATION, HAVING REFLECTIVITY GRANULAR PARTICLE LAYER TO FULLY BOND TO CONCRETE/SHOTCRETE, AND A METHOD OF MAKING, AND USING SAME
A dual lap high strength adhesive for sheet membrane application, having reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with an inventive high strength adhesive, and having at least one layer of reflectivity granular particle layer that are partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is below 55 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The innovative reflectivity granular particle layer system that is securely bonded to concrete or shotcrete can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The inventive high strength adhesive is along at least one edge of the sheet membrane, and could also be used to embed the reflectivity granular particle.
Wall brace system and method
A wall brace system for providing an apparatus for supporting a wall in a building structure, which has been moved inward by pressure from the earth outside in order to return the wall to a desired position. The wall brace system has a structural member, a retainer, a mounting assembly, a load member, a jack, and/or a locking member. A jack and/or locking member are operatively coupled between the structural member and the mounting assembly. The jack functions to exert a force against the structural member, directly or through the load member, in order to force the structural member toward the wall for shifting the wall (e.g., outwardly). The locking member functions to lock the structural member in place with respect to the mounting assembly after the jack positions the structural member. Thereafter, the jack is removed from the mounting assembly.

SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR FOUNDATION WALLS
A wall supporting system for supporting a foundation wall against forces applied externally to the wall comprises a support beam having a bottom end and a top end, a floor bracket adapted to maintain the bottom end of the support beam adjacent the wall, and an upper bracket. The upper bracket comprises a main plate facing the wall, and an internally threaded passage opening into said main plate and defining an axis generally perpendicular to the main plate, a torque bolt threadably received in the internally threaded passage, and a beam connector at an end of the torque bolt, wherein the beam connector is adapted to be generally rotationally fixed relative to support beam while the torque bolt can rotate relative to the beam connector, such that advancement of the torque bolt will advance the beam connector to urge the support beam into a compressive relationship with the wall.
