SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING A DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE

A method for automatically controlling a display system for a work vehicle having a first implement supported at a first end of a chassis, a second implement supported at a second end of the chassis, and a chair that is selectively movable between a first position oriented toward the first end of the work vehicle and a second position oriented toward the second end of the work vehicle. The method may include receiving an input indicative of a position of the chair and an input indicative of an operating state of the work vehicle. Additionally, the method may include controlling a display device to display image data from an imaging device associated with a first portion of a worksite or a second portion of the worksite based at least in part on the position of the chair and the operating state of the work vehicle.

System and method for controlling the operation of a work vehicle to provide improved responsiveness when commanding implement movement

A method for controlling the operation of a work vehicle includes initially controlling an operation of an implement actuator of the vehicle based on operator inputs received from an input device while a load sensing system of the vehicle is operable to adjust an output of an associated pump. The method also includes receiving an input providing an indication that an implement-based movement operation is to be performed and deactivating the load sensing system in response to the indication that the implement-based movement operation is to be performed. In addition, the method includes controlling the operation of the implement actuator based on further operator inputs received from the input device to perform the implement-based movement operation while the load sensing system is deactivated.

A method for estimating the weight of loads carried by implements may include controlling an implement subject to actual weighing conditions to lift a load and receiving an input indicative of a sensed force associated with lifting the load. The method may further include determining a correlation value indicative of a correlation between first and second force values for lifting a given load with the implement as a function of the actual weighing conditions and as a function of nominal weighing conditions, respectively, where at least one of the actual weighing conditions differs from at least one of the nominal weighing conditions. Furthermore, the method may include determining an adjusted force value for lifting the load based at least in part on the sensed force and the correlation value. Additionally, the method may include estimating the weight of the load based at least in part on the adjusted force value.

A method for estimating load weights for a work vehicle including a boom pivotably coupled to the chassis of the work vehicle at a boom joint and an implement pivotably coupled to the boom at an implement joint may include receiving an input indicative of a tilt force associated with a tilt cylinder configured to pivot the implement about the implement joint, and an input indicative of a lift force associated with a lift cylinder configured to pivot the boom about the boom joint. The method may further include determining a torque about the implement joint caused by the load based on the tilt force and determining a torque about the boom joint caused by the load based on the lift and tilt forces. Additionally, the method may include estimating a weight of the load based on the torques about the boom and implement joints.

COMPACT UTILITY LOADER WITH SYNCHRONIZED LIFT AND EXTENSION OF WORKING TOOL ATTACHMENT

A utility loader incorporating a boom of adjustable length. The boom includes either or both of a left and right arm assembly, with each lift arm assembly including a rear lift arm telescopingly engaged with a front lift arm. Each lift arm assembly also includes an extension actuator adapted to variably extend and retract the front lift arm relative to the rear lift arm. The lift arm assembly includes a connection point to, e.g., receive a tool assembly, and the motion of the lift arm assembly is synchronized to move the connection point along a predetermined path. In one or more embodiments, the predetermined path includes moving along a direction that is normal to the ground surface.

Loader with improved arm path

A compact utility loader compact utility loader comprising a frame, a first track and a second track positioned on either side of the frame, and a pair of loader arms. The loader arms are configured to couple with an attachment via a hitch plate and a hitch pin. The compact utility loader is configured such that as the loader arms are raised and lowered, the hitch pin follows a path approximately defined by a curve f(x)=4.641e.sup.0.34x The value “x” represents a horizontal direction and the function f(x) represents a vertical direction.
