Seafloor Pipeline Removal System and Method
The present invention relates to a system and method for uncovering and removing pipeline from the seafloor using a subsea trenching system using pressurized water to uncover pipe, a subsea shear carried by a barge to cut lengths of the pipeline, and a grapple carried by a barge to lift cut lengths of pipeline for placement on a pipe haul and recovery barge.
Soil extraction/grouting device
An extraction/grouting device which includes a fluid conduit having a longitudinal extent along a longitudinal axis, a pivoting wand and at least one cutting nozzle. The nozzle being in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. The cutting nozzle being coupled to the pivoting wand that is pivotably extendable relative to the longitudinal axis.
Dredge with water-jet cutterhead
A cutterhead for dredging a body of water. The cutterhead comprising a shroud including a top wall, a bottom wall, and two sidewalls each extending between the top and bottom walls. The cutterhead additionally comprises a rotatable cutterbar at least partially received within an interior space presented by the shroud, a first water-jet bar extending along a portion of the top wall of the shroud, and a second water-jet bar extending along at least a portion of one of the two sidewalls. The cutterbar and the water-jet bars are configured to generate a slurry of fluidized material from the water-bed.
SOIL EXTRACTION/GROUTING DEVICE
A method of moving an underground pipeline including the steps of: driving a casing into a soil proximate to the pipeline; deploying a pivoting wand from the casing about a pivoting axis, the pivoting wand having a plurality of cutting nozzles that are coupled to a fluid conduit having a longitudinal extent in the casing relative to a longitudinal axis; pressurizing the fluid conduit to thereby send fluid through the cutting nozzle to soften the soil in a direction in which the wand deploys; rotating the pivoting wand; conducting the softened soil up through the casing to form a cavity in the soil proximate the pipeline, the cavity in the soil having a shape reflective of the movement of the pivoting wand in the rotating step; positioning a lifting device beneath the pipeline. And, lifting the pipeline with the lifting device thereby drawing the pipeline toward or into the cavity.
DREDGE HEAD ASSEMBLY AND RELATED DIVER-ASSISTED DREDGING SYSTEM AND METHODS
A dredge head assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes: a shroud having a generally open bottom end and a top end; a screen structure covering the generally open bottom end of the shroud; a suction pipe with a first end connected to the top end of the shroud and a second end configured to be operatively connected with a pump which induces suction; a handle connected to and extending from the shroud and having at least one grasping portion; and one or more vacuum relief valve assemblies, each comprising a valve, at least one opening configured to be in communication with water, and an actuation mechanism positioned to be accessible to a diver. Dredging systems and methods of dredging are also disclosed.
Drilling fluid reclaimer
The present invention is directed to a drilling fluid reclaimer. The reclaimer has at least one adjustable screen assembly for providing a leveling filter for reclaimed drill fluid. Used drill fluid is placed at the screen assembly at the front the of the screen assembly. The at least one screen is vibrated to separate large particulate matter from liquid drilling fluid. A second screen is provided for additional filtering. Large particulate matter is expelled by a chute at the back of the screen assembly. Drilling fluid passing through the screen is “reclaimed” for use with a drilling system.
Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus having an adjustment system for adjusting a dewatering system screen
Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus that process spoil material onboard the apparatus by separating water from the cut earthen material are disclosed.
Device for removal of sediment from inside piles
Device for removal of sediment from inside piles being at least partly immersed in water, comprising an outer guiding unit arranged to be temporarily positioned on the top of a pile. The outer guiding unit envelopes at least one inner dredging unit being arranged to be lowered from within the outer guiding unit, the inner dredging unit at its lower end exhibiting movable jet nozzles arranged to loosen sediment. The inner dredging unit furthermore comprises a central passage which is connected to a discharge hose arranged to transport loosened sediment therefrom.
HYDRO EXCAVATION VACUUM APPARATUS AND FLUID STORAGE AND SUPPLY SYSTEMS THEREOF
Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus that process spoil material onboard the apparatus by separating water from the cut earthen material are disclosed.
