The transmission assembly selectively transfers power from one or both of the engine and the electric machine to an output shaft to drive ground engaging elements of the work vehicle. A traction control unit controls a speed or torque output of the electric machine to provide traction control for the work vehicle, with the traction control unit operating to receive inputs on a commanded ground speed and an actual ground speed of the work vehicle, compare the commanded ground speed to the actual ground speed and, when the commanded ground speed exceeds the actual ground speed by a threshold amount, reduce the speed or torque output of the electric machine, thereby providing traction control for the ground engaging elements.

The controller is configured to receive the lift cylinder pressure signal; determine the rimpull limit based at least in part upon the lift cylinder pressure signal; and adjust the torque of the power train to the rimpull limit.

A clutch actuation assembly is configured to effect movement of the clutch arrangement along the drive axis to engage the planetary gear set, and a guide actuation assembly is configured to operate the guide assembly to interact with the planetary gear set.

The system may comprise a controller configured to receive a steering command and determine a target angular turn rate for the body and a target turn direction for the body. The controller may be further configured to determine a steering mode based on a transmission output torque, the steering mode including Traction-steering, Assisted-steering or Implement-steering. When the steering mode is Assisted-steering, the controller is configured to steer the machine in the target turn direction and at the target angular turn rate by (a) moving an implement from a first position to a second position and (b) diverting or removing power from a first ground engaging traction member. When the steering mode is Implement-steering, the controller is configured to move the implement from a first position to a second position to steer the machine in the target turn direction and at the target angular turn rate without diverting or removing power from the first ground engaging traction member.

A circle drive for rotating a blade on a draft frame of a motor grader includes a circle gear mounting the blade, a worm wheel, a torque dividing arrangement, and a single input provided on a first shaft. The torque dividing arrangement includes a set of shafts positioned about the worm wheel, a torque dividing gear set, and a set of worm gears meshed with the worm wheel. The worm wheel is operatively coupled to drive the circle gear. The set of worm gears includes a first worm gear on a first shaft and a second worm gear on a second shaft. The single input is configured to provide a driving torque that drives the set of worm gears such that the set of worm gears divides the driving torque. The driving torque is capable of driving the worm wheel for driving the circle gear and rotating the blade.

In one aspect, an electric work vehicle includes a chassis extending in a longitudinal direction between a first end and an opposed second end, and a cab supported between the first and second ends of the chassis. The work vehicle also includes a work implement assembly positioned at the first end or the second end, and a storage compartment defining a storage volume extending in the longitudinal direction between the cab and the first end or the second end. Moreover, the electric work vehicle includes a battery module positioned within the storage compartment, and a drivetrain including an electric traction motor positioned within the storage compartment and configured to be operated via power supplied from the battery module. The electric traction motor is coupled to a transmission of the drivetrain to allow torque to be transferred from the traction motor to corresponding traction devices of the electric work vehicle.
