A wear part removal system includes a handle, a positioning system configured to control an approach angle of the wear part removal system to a wear part, a clamping system that includes a plurality of clamps and that is configured to clamp the wear part, a contact component configured to contact a portion of the wear part, and a vibrator device configured to generate a vibratory force that is to be transmitted to the wear part.

Tool holder installation device and system

A tool holder insertion device includes a frame extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the frame including first and second longitudinal arms extending between the distal end and the proximal end. The frame also includes a distal transverse arm connected to respective distal ends of the first and second longitudinal arms, a proximal transverse arm opposite the distal transverse arm, and an internal space extending from the distal transverse arm, the internal space forming an insertion opening. The tool holder insertion device also includes a drive assembly fixed to the frame, the drive assembly including a pushing surface that is movable within the internal space toward the distal end of the frame.

WORK IMPLEMENT ASSEMBLY USING A CENTER ADAPTER MATING WITH A NOTCHED BASE EDGE

An adapter includes a first leg, a second leg, and a throat portion that define a slot defining a direction of assembly onto a work implement assembly, a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly, and a vertical direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly and the lateral direction. The throat portion further includes a first throat side surface disposed along the lateral direction and a second throat side surface disposed on the opposite side of the throat portion along the lateral direction. The first throat side surface defines a first adapter cover receiving recess.

WEAR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

A process and tool for installing and removing various kinds of wear parts used with earth working equipment. The process and tool allows the operator to remove and install the wear parts at a safe distance so that the operator is physically remote from the potential risks of the removal and installation process. The tool may be manually operated via an operator or the tool may be a semi-automated or fully automated.
