The pin includes a groove located between the first, proximal head region and the second, distal end region. A biasing element is disposed at least partially within the groove.

Bolt retainer configuration to hold a position of a bolt within a component

A bolt retainer, to position a bolt within a bolt receiving element of a component, is disclosed. The bolt retainer may include a tube structure. The bolt retainer may further include bolt engaging elements that extend from an inner surface of the tube structure to engage with the bolt. The bolt retainer may additionally include component engaging elements that extend from an outer surface of the tube structure to engage with the component.

Retainer sleeve design with anti-rotation features

A retainer sleeve includes an at least partially annular body defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The body may also have a radially inner annular surface defining a radially inner aperture, and a first anti-rotation feature extending radially inwardly from the radially inner annular surface including a sloping ledge having a locking surface that faces at least partially in the circumferential direction and along a direction that is parallel to the axis of rotation, forming an oblique angle with the direction that is parallel to the axis of rotation.

PROTECTION SYSTEMS

A protection system includes a mount for attachment to a wear panel of equipment. The mount includes a first portion which engages the wear panel to be protected and a second portion extending from the first portion which engages an adjacent face to be protected. The second portion has a passage which allows sliding movement of a bolt along the passage. A wear part is releasably mounted to the mount and has a first portion that slidingly engages the first portion of the mount and a second portion that engages the second portion of the mount. The second portion of the wear part has a passage arranged to align with the passage through the second portion of the mount when the wear part and the mount are engaged. A bolt extends through the aligned passages to secure the wear part to the mount via a locking member.

A lug member is provided for a wear member retention system for an implement. The lug member includes an elongated body having a length dimension. A wear member engagement portion extends toward a distal end of the elongated body. A compression bolt assembly engaging portion is adjacent a proximal end of the elongated body. The compression bolt assembly engaging portion defines at least one bore configured to receive a compression bolt.

ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND GROUND ENGAGING ASSEMBLY FOR EARTHMOVING EQUIPMENT
20230220652 · 2023-07-13 · ·

An attachment assembly (25) and a ground engaging assembly for releasable attachment with earthmoving equipment is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the attachment assembly (25) comprises a first body (30) configured for being placed in affirmative engagement with a portion (32) of or in fixed relation with respect to an edge of or associated with the earthmoving equipment. The attachment assembly (25) comprises a second body (35) configured for being placed in affirmative engagement with a portion of the ground engaging tool (GET, 15.sub.C or 15). An operable element (40) is arranged so as to operably associate the first (30) and second (35) bodies so as to be responsive to operation of the operable element (40) in a first mode (mode I), in which one of the bodies (30, 35) is moved or driven away from the alternate body on the GET being received with respect to said edge, the separation of the bodies operating to apply a force to said portion of the GET for holding the GET (15.sub.C) with respect to said edge, and, a second mode of operation (mode II), in which one of the bodies is driven/moved toward the alternate body for removal of the GET (15.sub.C). Embodiments of a ground engaging assembly are also disclosed.

Work implement assembly using a center adapter mating with a notched base edge

An adapter includes a first leg, a second leg, and a throat portion that define a slot defining a direction of assembly onto a work implement assembly, a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly, and a vertical direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly and the lateral direction. The throat portion further includes a first throat side surface disposed along the lateral direction and a second throat side surface disposed on the opposite side of the throat portion along the lateral direction. The first throat side surface defines a first adapter cover receiving recess.
