A lower portion of the main body may be coupled with a lower portion of the cover. Magnets may be installed in upper portions of the main body and the cover, respectively, such that the main body and the cover may be coupled with each other by a magnetic force.
Stretchable laminates
The present invention provides stretchable laminates with a flat appearance on the visible surface. The laminates comprise a textile layer, a functional layer, and a plurality of elastic fibers. The plurality of elastic fibers are in a substantially parallel arrangement and the internal distance between adjacent fibers does not exceed the maximum fiber spacing, which depends on laminate thickness in a stretched state. Also provided are garments and footwear comprising the stretchable laminates and methods of producing the stretchable laminates.
Drinking water supply system having an acoustic sensor or a presence detector, method for controlling the same, and computer program
A drinking water supply system includes a drinking water line system, a plurality of drinking water withdrawal points connected to the drinking water line system, at least one sensor which is designed to determine measuring values, and a central control device which is designed to receive and evaluate the measuring values determined by the at least one sensor. The system also includes a presence detector designed to determine information about the presence of a person, or an acoustic sensor designed to measure measuring values for the volume. The central control device is designed to control the drinking water supply system as a function of the information about the presence of a person or as a function of the measured values for the volume. A method for controlling such a drinking water supply system and a computer program that causes the method to be carried out are also provided.
FILTRATION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A filtration apparatus includes a flow path, a valve provided on the flow path, a first light source configured to emit a first light including ultraviolet (UV) light toward the flow path, a second light source configured to emit a second light including visible light or infrared light toward the flow path, a first optical sensor located out of a path of the first light and the second light, electrodes provided on the flow path, and a processor electrically coupled to the valve, the first light source, the second light source, the first optical sensor, and the electrodes. The processor is configured to alternately operate the first light source and the second light source, receive a first signal from the first optical sensor while the first light source emits the first light, and control the valve and the electrodes to sterilize the flow path based on the first signal.
Portable, hand-carried system and method for providing accessible electrical power and for producing a source of consumable water either through filtration or desalination
A universal water purification system and method that can desalinate salt water or just filter fresh water. Preferably, the system is portable and relatively lightweight and provides for emergency or recreational safe power and water accessibility. The components of the system can be installed on an aluminum frame and preferably include a waterproof front control panel, four pre-filters, a reverse osmosis membrane, ultraviolet (UV) LED lamp, a high pressure reverse osmosis (RO) pump and a low pressure water supplying pump, an electro valve preferably with a manual override in case of power loss, an additional electro valve, a plurality of quick connect couplings (preferably three), a power bank, an internal inverter, a universal power supply and battery charger preferably disposed within a military style suitcase. In a preferred embodiment, the suitcase can be a PELICAN brand case. The system can provide a power bank, universal power supply (12V, 24 V, 90-260V 409-70 HZ), wide range battery charger, and water filtration and desalination unit for both outdoor and indoor applications.
FLOW SEPARATION DEVICE
The invention relates to a flow separation device (100), which may be provided in a beverage preparation device (1). The flow separation device (100) in particular effects an easier separation (redirection) of a flow. The flow separation device (100) comprises a first delivery line (30) to drain water from a buffer tank (2), a branching section (29) provided downstream the first delivery line (30), wherein the branching section (29) branches the first delivery line (30) into a second delivery line (28) and a third delivery line (23), each of the second and third delivery line (28, 23) leading to a respective discharge outlet (22; 24), and a flow rate control device (26) for delivering water through the flow separation device (100) and for adjusting the flow rate of the water. Each of the second delivery line (28) and third delivery line (23) comprises a respective section (281; 231), wherein said sections (281, 231) are arranged such that if water is delivered by the flow rate control device (26) at a flow rate below a defined threshold value the water is delivered beyond the section (281) of the second delivery line (28) but not beyond the section (231) of the third delivery line (23), thereby discharging the water via the discharge outlet (22) of the second delivery line (28), and if water is delivered by the flow rate control device (26) at a flow rate at or above the defined threshold value the water is at least partially delivered beyond the section (231) of the third delivery line (23), thereby discharging the water at least partially via the discharge outlet (24) of the third delivery line (23).
Water energy matrix control
A system and method for controlling microbiological growth in a water system and premise plumbing system which uses stabilized hydrogen peroxide as a disinfectant and maintains water energy matrix control. Maintenance of stable hydrogen peroxide residual in the system in combination with active temperature monitoring enables better control of the water energy matrix and reduction of hot water temperature while maintaining microbiological control.
Separator device
An in-line fitment for connection of a filter to a pipe includes first and second fluid-carrying portions and a non-fluid-carrying spacer. Each fluid-carrying portion includes a socket for receiving an open end of a pipe and a connector for connection of the filter. A screw compression fitting is provided on each of the sockets of the first and second fluid-carrying portions for forming a sealed connection with the open ends of the pipe. The socket of the first fluid-carrying portion has a pipe receiving depth greater than that of the socket of the second fluid-carrying portion for enabling movement of the fitment parallel to the pipe when engaged with one of the open ends of the pipe. The sockets of the first and second fluid-carrying portions are positioned on a common axis and facing away from each other when the fluid-carrying portions are linked by the spacer.
CONFIGURABLE MANIFOLD WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Examples provide an apparatus having a first accumulator that water received from a first supply line. A first conduit connects to the first accumulator and provides a second supply line from the first accumulator to a fixture. The second accumulator receives drainage water from the fixture. The second conduit connects to the second accumulator and includes a drainage line that directs the drainage water away from the second accumulator. A pump associated with the second accumulator assists with moving the drainage water out of the second accumulator through the drainage line.
