Blockable connector between sink drain and drainage stack.
Toward the enabling of cleaning schedules involving one or more chemical treatments for the disinfection of healthcare room sink drainsets to avoid nosocomial infections arising from the vectoring of drain pathogenic bacteria, a blockable novel connector is presented to connect a sink drainset to an existing wall stub leading to a drainage stack behind the wall. Multiple chemical soaks for the drainset can be enabled through elaboration of the blocking plug temporarily inserted into the adapter. Two configurations, sideways and upward, are possible to connect the wallbend straight to the connector, the upward allowing for orthogonal connection between the straight and the receiving hub of the connector whatever the angle an existing wall stub has to the wall upon which the sink is hung. Additional blocking plug technology can be enabled.

Wash stand
A wash stand comprising a wash basin having a drain opening which opens into a drain chamber. In the drain opening there is a cover which extends over part of the drain opening such that, at least in a lower region of the drain opening, a gap is created through which water can flow out of the wash basin into the drain chamber. In the drain chamber there is at least one mounting point on which the cover is supported removably by the at least one mounting point. The cover in the at least one mounting point is mounted pivotably about at least one pivot axis such that the cover can be pivoted from a use position into an intermediate position in which the cover can easily be grasped by a user. From its intermediate position, the cover can be removed from the mounting point out of the drain opening.
Multi-function fixture with soap refill system
A lavatory system includes a countertop, a fixture, and a soap system mounted to the countertop adjacent the fixture. The fixture includes at least one leg, a first passage and a second passage distributed through the at least one leg, and an extension section extending from the at least one leg. A first tube carrying water extends through one of the first passage and the second passage, while a second tube carrying soap extends through one of the first passage and the second passage. The soap system includes a mounting component within an orifice of the countertop, a refill port extending through the mounting component to a soap container below the countertop, a cap over the refill port, and a soap pump to transmit soap from the soap container to the second tube of the fixture. A mounting bracket is secured below the countertop to support the soap container.
Accumulator Assembly
An accumulator assembly having a wastewater retention tank defining an interior chamber. A fluid level sensor is coupled to the waste retention tank and configured to sense a level of liquid in the chamber. An extraction pipe extends into the chamber and is coupled to an extraction valve. Coupled to the fluid sensor is a controller that is also coupled to the fluid level sensor and to the extraction valve. The controller is configured to open the extraction valve upon receipt of a signal from the sensor. The accumulator assembly also includes an odor mitigation subassembly in fluid communication with the chamber. The odor mitigation subassembly further includes an air displacement port, an odor filter and an overflow prevention device, the overflow prevention device being in fluid communication with the chamber and located downstream of the air displacement port and upstream of the filter.

Plumbing connector, assembly and associated methods
A connector includes a seat portion and a body portion. The seat portion includes a seat having a first curved surface. The body portion includes a curved body having a second curved surface. A nut portion is screwed to the seat portion, with a flexible portion and washer disposed therebetween. To connect the seat portion and the body portion, the curved body can be inserted through an opening of the nut portion, and the flexible portion and washer. The flexible portion may resist, but not stop, the curved body from being moved therethrough. The curved body may be seated within the seat and configured such that angular and/or rotational adaptation of the seat portion relative to the body portion is permitted. The nut portion can be adjusted to compress the flexible portion such that the curved body is retained in the vicinity of the seat, while still permitting angular and/or rotational adaptation of the seat portion relative to the body portion.
Wet-area device and method for manufacturing wet-area device
According to one embodiment, a wet-area device includes a main part, a first layer, and a second layer. The first layer is provided on an outer surface of the main part. The second layer is provided on an outer surface of the first layer. A hardness of the second layer is greater than a hardness of the first layer. The first layer includes a first unevenness at a side of the outer surface of the first layer. The first unevenness includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions. The second layer includes a second unevenness at a side of an outer surface of the second layer. The second unevenness includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions. The second unevenness is arranged along the first unevenness. An average height of the first unevenness is less than an average length of the first unevenness.
