Connector for a water system
The present invention relates to a connector (100) for a water system. The connector comprises an inlet connector (105), a connector body and an outlet connector (120) arranged in sequence. The connector body is open-sided so as to form a tundish having an open air gap between the inlet and outlet connectors (105, 120), through which water can fall in use. The connector (100) further comprises a sensor for detecting the presence of water within the connector body.

There also is a valve body, an actuating unit by way of which the valve body is movable, and an outflow pipe into which the second channel section opens by way of the outlet opening thereof. A first central axis extends centrally through the first channel section, and an outflow pipe central axis extends centrally through the outflow pipe. The outflow pipe central axis intersects the first central axis, and the drain arrangement furthermore comprises an overflow unit, which has a first connecting pipe, an overflow pipe and a second connecting pipe.

ELECTRONIC DRAIN CLOSURE SYSTEM
A system comprising: a drain fitting securable to a container for containing a liquid and an evacuation drain; and a closure member comprising: a casing; a motion device for moving the casing relative between an open position in which the casing is away from the drain fitting to allow the liquid from flowing from the container into the evacuation drain and a closed position in which the casing abuts against the drain fitting to prevent the liquid from flowing from the container into the evacuation drain; an electrical motor received in the casing for activating the motion device; a communication unit received in the casing for at least receiving a command indicative of one of an opening of the electronic drain closure system and a closure of the electronic drain closure system; and a controller for activating the electrical motor in accordance with the command received by the communication unit.

There is described an apparatus for determining a level of a liquid to be contained in a container, comprising: a body extending along a longitudinal axis, the body being insertable within the container; and a level sensor unit secured to the body for detecting the level of the liquid along the longitudinal axis of the body.

Sink assembly
The present invention is directed to a sink assembly that can separate particulate contaminants from a liquid in which they are suspended. The sink assembly includes a master trap and at least a first trap with a riser and valve assembly to collect particulates and prevent overflow from the master trap. The sink assembly provides a simple maintenance and cleaning solution.
