A plumbing drain trap treatment mixture is disclosed. The mixture is poured into a plumbing drain trap to form a layer of the mixture that floats on top of the water in the trap. The mixture layer forms a boundary to prevent evaporation of the water from the trap, thereby maintaining the water in the trap to prevent sewer gas infiltration and pest infiltration to the building. The anti-pest and antimicrobial properties of the mixture may serve to further prevent migration of pests from the sewage drain beyond the trap through the plumbing trap and into the building and/or to protect the barrier itself from microbial infestation. A method of use of a treatment for a plumbing drain trap is also disclosed.

A method and apparatus for conditioning an RV/Marine toilet bowl seal, including providing an apparatus comprising a plug comprising a handle portion; and a solid foam coupled to the handle portion; wherein the handle portion is configured to allow a user to insert or remove the solid foam of the plug from a discharge opening of an RV/Marine toilet bowl; and wherein the solid foam is configured to make contact with at least a portion of the RV/Marine toilet bowl seal; pouring a conditioner into the discharge opening of the RV/Marine toilet bowl; inserting the plug into the discharge opening of the RV/Marine toilet bowl such that the solid foam contacts with at least a portion of the RV/Marine toilet bowl seal; and rotating the plug by about a quarter of a turn.

A removable cartridge for a low or zero water urinal outlet comprises a body comprising a side wall including one or more locking projections projecting out from the wall. One or more resilient elements are provided in the wall and each resilient element includes one of the locking projections.

A toilet flange cap with cleaning basin is presented. The toilet flange cap with cleaning basin contains a cap body and a flange seal. The flange seal is connected adjacent to the cap body. The toilet flange cap with cleaning basin allows a user to plug and seal a flange aperture along a toilet flange insert, preventing sewage gas and airborne pathogens from emitting from the flange aperture.

The present invention relates to a floor drain for draining water from a walk-in floor into a waste water pipe, with an inlet channel socket, a first receiving body for the inlet channel socket, a second receiving body for the first receiving body and a drain housing following the second receiving body in the water drainage direction, which is preferably designed as an odor trap, wherein the first receiving body has a bowl-shaped section, to the outer edge of which a flexible sealing mat is connected in a liquid-tight manner and the bottom of which passes into a first drain connection piece which can be inserted into the second receiving body, wherein the second receiving body has a bowl-shaped section on which an outwardly projecting flange is integrally formed or attached, and wherein the bowl-shaped section of the second receiving body passes into a second drain connection piece.

A waterless urinal having a motion sensor that opens the drain valve. This sensor also turns on an internal venting fan that draws air from in front of the P trap, upwardly thru the fan, and downwardly to vent the air down the sewer after the P trap. The whole system can be operated by a solar-powered battery system making it well suited for use in off-grid locations, areas prone to drought or water shortage, mobile homes, rest stops, and stadiums.

A central position of a water storage tank is provided with a drain opening; a water return bowl is in a short box shape, and is made of silicone; the bottom end of a skirt of the water return bowl is in direct contact with a bottom plane of the water storage tank to form a closed surface; a top plane of the water return bowl can attach to a grate, and the skirt of the water return bowl can be folded inwardly to form a curved flaky structure under drainage pressure; drain holes of the grate are provided on the edge of the water storage tank. The present invention relates to a siphon device with a bypass, comprising: a siphon upper section having a top coupling means for connecting to a drain outlet, a side drain opening having coupling means for connecting to a wastewater utility pipe, wherein the siphon upper section is adapted to enable a direct flow via the side drain opening and thereby to bypass a basin of the siphon, thus evacuating substantial volume of accumulated water directly into the wastewater utility pipe.

The valve provides a water seal that does not require dragging water; it is the urine itself that achieves the seal without the odor developed by the urine of the water seal returning to the users' space. A seal is provided by spheres avoiding the use of consumables, such as sealing oil, scent pads, among others. An outlet valve is provided, in a waterless urinal, towards the drainage, preventing the return of foul odors, including a hydraulic trap formed by a tank where a certain volume of urine is formed, a funnel that discharges the new urine into the bottom of the tank, and an upper valve where the seal is carried out by one or two spheres in their respective seats.

The invention relates to an odor trap device for sanitary fixtures, in particular urinals, having a drainage element which has a pipe section, the pipe section defining a sealing wall, having a sealing diaphragm which is in sealing contact with the sealing wall in a closed position and is pushed away from the sealing wall into an open position when fluid, such as urine, is present, and having a holder for mounting the sealing diaphragm relative to the sealing wall. In order to minimise the risk of odor formation in an odor trap device of this kind and also to reliably discharge small quantities of urine or liquid present, it is provided, in accordance with the invention, that the sealing diaphragm is fixed on the holder, the holder being supported below the sealing diaphragm.
