Magnetically actuated pop-up drain assembly
A magnetically actuated pop-up drain assembly includes a tailpiece having an upper end, a lower end and a hollow interior. Axially received within the tailpiece interior is a plug including a dome-shaped cap with an elongated stem depending therefrom. Proximal a lower end of the stem are an upper magnet having a predetermined polarity and a lower spaced magnet having an opposite polarity. Slidably mounted on the outer surface of the tailpiece is an outer magnet having an upper pole identical to a lower pole of the upper magnet, and a lower pole identical to an upper pole of the lower magnet. Accordingly, upward movement of the outer magnet will repel the upper magnet and lift the stem. Conversely, downward movement will repel the lower magnet, which lowers the stem.
Enhanced abandoned call recovery for a contact center
An enhanced abandoned call recovery (“E-ACR”) process allows certain abandoned calls to be eligible for a callback call. An E-ACR assignment point defines which abandoned calls in an inbound campaign or interactive voice response (“IVR”) menu are eligible to be processed to determine whether the E-ACR callback should occur. The determination of whether a callback occurs involves various compliance tests, such as ensuring calling window, call attempts, and other regulatory concerns are addressed. Once a callback is determined to occur, it is associated with a specific campaign to ensure the called party is provided with agents having the skill set as defined for that assignment point. In this manner, only eligible callers receive an E-ACR callback, and further receive the callback in a compliant manner and handled by the same skill set of agents as would have been allocated to the caller had they not abandoned their call.
Drain flange cover and strainer
A drain flange cover is provided for covering and hiding a drain flange in a sink or bathtub, which includes a drain cap and which may or may not include a longitudinal shaft and/or a strainer. The longitudinal shaft can be a perforated tube that serves as a strainer. Strainers can be cylindrical, regular-funnel shaped and inverted-funnel shaped. A drain stopper includes an open-close mechanism, a strainer and a drain flange cover. A drain stopper with a push-push mechanism can rest on a cross-member in a drain pipe, allowing easy removal to clean the strainer.
Drain stopper device
The present invention relates to plumbing fixtures, and more particularly to drain stopper assemblies used to control the flow of fluid through a drain opening of a sink or bathtub. More specifically, the present invention is a novel drain stopper device that can be attached or removed from a drain without the use of tools and without requiring a user to access the space underneath the drain. The device is preferably comprised of a drain stopper head portion having a repositionable push button in mechanical communication with a spring, a shaft and a pair of repositionable jaws such that the pair of jaws are repositioned to grip or release a pivot rod when the push button is repositioned between a first and a second position.
Accelerated drain apparatus and method for walk-in bathtub
An accelerated drain system for a walk-in bathtub with a water outlet in a side wall communicates water to a diverter valve biased to circulate the water in the bathtub and movable selectively to communicate water through a reverse check valve to a drain, the reverse check valve biased closed to prevent water flow and movable selectively to allow water flow to the drain, with a controller configured for moving the diverter valve selectively from the second position to the closed position for subsequent use of the walk-in bathtub. A method of rapid draining of a walk-in bathtub is disclosed.
Push-Type Drain Stopper for Pop-Up Drain
A push-type drain stopper is usable in a drain pipe that has a pivot rod port surrounded by a stub by sealing a rod that protrudes into the pipe through the stub. The stopper is pressed transversely into engagement with the rod, which is an anchor. The drain pipe has a drain flange that seals around a drain opening in a sink. If the flange becomes worn and unsightly or if one desires to change a color scheme for the sink, a cap that has a diameter greater than the drain flange hides the drain flange from sight. A retrofit kit includes the drain stopper, pivot balls sized to fit different pop-up drain assemblies, a rod that passes through the ball into the drain pipe, and a wing nut fixed to an end of the rod for tightening the rod against a stub cap.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPOSING OF FLUID FROM A KITCHEN SINK
A fluid-disposing system for a galley sink includes: a galley sink for a galley cabin monument, a self-regulating valve, a control unit, a sensor, and a signal connection between the sensor and the control unit. The valve input is connected to a fluid line, connected to a drainage opening of the galley sink. The valve is arranged underneath the drainage opening, such that fluid from the galley sink can flow through the associated drainage opening into the fluid line. The valve output is designed to be couplable with a source of negative pressure. The valve is designed to automatically open at a predetermined amount M1 of fluid in the fluid line, such that fluid can flow out of the fluid line, and to automatically close at a predetermined amount M2 of fluid in the fluid line, such that the predetermined amount M2 of fluid remains in the fluid line.
Raceway ratchet limiter
A clicker ratchet limiter is a mechanical device that allows one part to move a defined distance relative to another by means of a linkage moving around a closed circuit track with a minimum and maximum position, and by means of a captured spring to allow for propulsion of the linkage around the track. One part, the anchor, is fastened to an anchoring object, leaving the top part to move between a minimum and maximum displacement position. Switching between positions is effected by compressing an internal coil spring by pressing down on the top part. The linkage device is a ratchet but not robust to pulling of the top off of the anchored anchor part. A hook and step displacement limiter is provided within each raceway pair of rib and inverted rib on the anchor and top part, respectively, to prevent pulling off of the top.
WASH BASIN DRAIN
The embodiments disclosed herein provide an adjustable wash basin drain wherein a fitting angle of the contact surfaces between the wash basin and the drain can be adjusted to achieve a better seal between the wash basin and the drain. The wash basin drain may include a split-type drain flange that includes an upper connector seat, a lower connector seat, and a flange connector. The upper connector seat is configured to snap fit to an upper end of a water discharge hole of the wash basin. The lower connector seat is connected to a water discharge pipe, and may be disposed beyond a bottom end of the wash basin. The flange connector connects the upper connector seat with the lower connector seat.
