Plumbing service box installation
A plumbing service box assembly is described. The assembly includes a box with a positioning-debris cover configured to be received through an open face of the box and that includes a receiver that engages the plumbing fitting. Engagement with the receiver retains the plumbing fitting orientation and position during installation in a structure. The positioning-debris cover may be retained for aesthetic appearance and/or to resist actuation of the fitting. A trim-piece provides a finished appearance to the installation and retains the positioning-debris cover in position. Top and bottom walls of the box include interchangeable adaptor plates that adapt to various plumbing conduit sizes as well as drain outlets or couplings. A secondary debris cover that encloses the positioning-debris cover within the box and further protects against entry of debris is also provided.
Vacuuming faucet assembly
A vacuuming faucet assembly includes a faucet that is integrated into a counter top. A pair of vacuum units is each integrated into the faucet and each of the vacuum units includes a suction port that is in fluid communication with a vacuum source. The suction port on each of the vacuum units is extendable away from a respective vacuum unit for suctionally removing water from the counter top to dry the counter top. A plurality of motion sensors is each integrated into a respective one of the faucet and a respective one of the pair of vacuum units to sense motion proximate the respective faucet and the respective pair of vacuum units. Additionally, respective ones of the motion sensors turns on the respective faucet of the respective vacuum unit when the respective motion sensor senses motion.
TUB SPOUT ASSEMBLY
A tub spout assembly is configured to be supported within the overflow opening in the sidewall of a bathtub. The tub spout assembly illustratively includes an overflow body defining an overflow passageway, and an inlet tube supported by the overflow body and defining an inlet passageway. A spout is fluidly coupled to the inlet tube and defines a spout outlet to dispense water from the inlet tube into the bathtub. A spout cover illustratively receives the spout and includes an inner wall defining at least one opening. The at least one opening is illustratively in fluid communication with the overflow passageway and the inlet passageway. Illustratively, a diverter assembly is supported by the spout and is configured to selectively open and close fluid communication between the inlet passageway to the spout outlet.
DRAINAGE MECHANISM
Draining mechanism for a sanitary vessel, such as a bathtub or the like, and method for installing such a draining mechanism on a sanitary vessel in which the draining mechanism is adapted to be installed in sanitary vessels of different wall thicknesses and comprising an actuator which does not need to be bulky or aesthetically unpleasant when the sanitary vessel wall thickness is small. The invention also facilitates the movement of the actuator even when the actuator becomes wet.
Environmentally-friendly shower water recycling system
An electric water-recycling shower system comprising a first heating element, a fresh water intake arranged to pass the first heating element, an intake valve to control the flow of water through the fresh water intake, a water output, and a shower waste, wherein during a normal mode of operation, the intake valve is configured to allow a flow of water from the fresh water intake to pass by the first heating element and out of the water output, characterised in that the system is adapted to switch between the normal mode and a recycle mode of operation, the recycle mode comprising a waste water intake, and a waste valve connected to the shower waste, wherein the waste valve is configured to close in order to allow collection of waste water for diversion of water through the waste water intake, past a heating element and out of the water output.
ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY SHOWER WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM
