METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING A CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE FROM HUMAN EXCRETA
The invention relates to a method for removing a chemical substance from human excreta, such as faeces and urine, comprising the following steps of: providing a toilet for a person from whose excreta the chemical substance must be removed; releasably connecting a filtering device to the toilet, wherein the filtering device comprises at least one removable cartridge with a filter; transporting the excreta by means of a transport screw from the toilet toward the filter in the cartridge, wherein pressure is exerted on the excreta by means of a plunger; filtering the chemical substance out of the excreta in situ using the filtering device; periodically replacing the at least one cartridge; and processing the replaced cartridge. The invention also relates to a filtering device for application in this method, and a cartridge for use in such a filtering device.
Separating toilet
A separating toilet including a pan having a pipe section, which is connected in the outflow region and has vertical side walls at least in certain portions, and having a main discharge line connected downstream of the pipe section. An odor trap is provided between the pipe section and the main discharge line. At least one separate auxiliary discharge line for separating urine is provided. The inlet opening of the auxiliary discharge line is arranged on a side of the vertical side wall of the pipe section and thus below the pan and above the odor trap.

Analytical Toilet with Microfluidic Chip
An analytical toilet is disclosed with a bowl adapted to receive excreta, a conduit for transporting a liquid excreta sample from the bowl, and a liquid reagent source. The analytical toilet also includes a microfluidic chip that has a sensor configured to detect at least one property of the excreta sample. The microfluidic chip also has an excreta sample path in fluid communication with the conduit and the sensor and a reagent path in fluid communication with the liquid reagent source and the sensor. The length of and number of channels in the sample path and the reagent path are selected so as to control the respective fluid resistance of the excreta sample and the reagent to thereby optimize the mixing and flow rates of the excreta sample and reagent into the sensor. There is also disclosed analytical toilet with a microfluidic chip having reagent path that includes a first and a second channel. The second channel is longer than the first channel. A valve, which is controllable so as to cause the reagent to flow through either the first channel, the second channel or both channels. As such, the fluid resistance of the reagent is controlled, to thereby optimize the flow rate of the reagent into the sensor.
TOILET, TESTING, AND MONITORING SYSTEMS
Systems for monitoring metabolites may include a sample collection system and a urinalysis system of or for a toilet. The sample collection system may be automated to collect sample urine from a toilet or toilet area, transport the sample to the urinalysis system, and/or the sample urine for analysis at a later time or after analysis by the urinalysis system. The urinalysis system may be automated by proactively providing test material on which a subject may provide a urine sample. Once the urine sample has been provided the urinalysis system may provide the test material to an analyzer for analysis. Results of the analysis of the test material and sample urine may be provided to a mobile device of the subject and/or a remote server. The urinalysis system may provide a urine sample to a mass spectrometry unit for analysis.
TOILET AND INDIVIDUAL EXCRETA DISPOSAL SYSTEM INCLUDING SAME
A toilet bowl includes a main body defining a urine and feces transfer passage; and a collection member arranged in a first direction from the main body, wherein the main body comprises a urine and feces transfer surface and a urine and feces separation surface arranged in the first direction, wherein the urine and feces separation surface extends along a circumference of the urine and feces transfer passage, and separates mixed urine and feces transferred from the urine and feces transfer surface into liquid urine and feces and solid urine and feces, and wherein the collection member accommodates each of the liquid urine and feces and the solid urine and feces.
Device for Conserving Water and Repurposing Liquid Human Waste
A device that conserves water and repurposes liquid human waste for use in a toilet is described herein. In some examples, the device includes a funnel and urine collection hat with a drainage hole. In some further examples, the device includes a gravity filter and a collection receptacle. In still further examples, the device includes a collection hat and a tube.
Toilet with urine diversion and method for waste reuse
The present disclosure includes an improved toilet and a system of using the improved toilet. The toilet can be configured to separate urine from solid waste, and further to separate solid waste according to size. The toilet can also comprise a personal cleansing system to clean a user's anus following use of the toilet. The present also discloses a method of maintaining the toilet and a method for removing the separated waste for re-use as a combustible fuel and fertilizer.

Aerothermodynamic Environment-friendly Toilet, Mounting Method, and Application of Aerothermodynamic Environment-friendly Toilet
The present disclosure relates to an aerothermodynamic environment-friendly toilet, a mounting method, and an application of the aerothermodynamic environment-friendly toilet. The toilet includes a receiver, a processor, a solid storage device, a liquid storage device and a drying device. The toilet is odorless by using an aerothermodynamics principle. When no one uses the toilet, a fan at an exhaust port is used for exhausting a small amount of air from each cavity of the toilet to control an odor source unidirectionally; after use of the toilet, a waste treatment button is triggered, then hot air flow moves downwards, which downwards ejects air at an upper portion of a lower conical port of a reception guider of the receiver.
