Drainage channel with a drainage body and a cover

A stable and variable design of a drainage structure includes a drainage body (11) and a cover (20). The cover (20) has engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′; 23, 23′) when seen in a longitudinal direction of the drainage body (11), whereby the cover connects upper edges (12, 12′) of the drainage body (11) to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction in a tension-resistant manner over the entire length of the drainage body. In order to allow the use of different covers (20) for different loads, for example while using the same drainage body (11), two types of engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′) are provided on the drainage body.

Apparatuses and methods for a storm drain grate guard

Apparatus and methods for a storm drain grate guard are provided. An apparatus may include an annular apex support member, an apex member affixed to the apex support member, and an annular intermediate support member having a circumference larger than the apex support member. The apparatus may further include a first portion forming a conical frustum between the apex support member and the intermediate support. The apparatus may additionally include an annular base support member having a circumference equal to or larger than the intermediate support. The apparatus may still further include a second portion between the intermediate support member and the base support member. The apparatus may also further include at least three vertical members each peripherally connected to the apex support member, the first portion, the intermediate support member, the second portion, and base support member such that the vertical members surround a longitudinal axis.

Cup and saucer thinset surface drain

A thinset floor drain comprises a saucer shaped mounting flange with a central lowermost circular perforated receptacle, and a perforated cup of smaller diameter that sits in the receptacle. The cup bears upward features including a grate support that threads into the inner thread of the cup, a grate that sits atop the upmost flange of the grate support, and grate tilting mechanisms. This structure serves not only as a flanged floor drain to drain surface water through the cylindrical core of the drain, it binds to a membrane beneath tiling and collects weeping water. The horizontal, vertical, and tilt adjustability of the upmost grate provide a safe grate surface that aligns with and is coplanar with the tile surface surrounding it. Because the receptacle sits below the subfloor, the grate will present a low profile above the surface of the subfloor.

Floor sink strainer and assembly

A strainer for a floor sink and a floor sink strainer assembly. The strainer includes a central body defining a perimeter and further includes a generally planar flange extending outwardly from the perimeter of the body. The flange has a shape and size corresponding to the size and shape of the bottom wall of the floor sink. As a result, the strainer is constrained from lateral movement and lifting during a high influx of water.

Covering consisting of a plurality of gratings inserted one into another

Covers for drains, manholes or similar constructions are known which comprise a first grate (10) made of sheet metal and comprising slots (11) and struts (12), said struts having top faces (13) and each strut having side faces (14, 14) made of sheet metal bent with respect to the top face. In order to increase the rigidity it is proposed that at least a second grate (20) is provided, the struts (22) of which are inserted in the slots (11) of the first grate (10).

Threshold trench drain
10167621 · 2019-01-01 · ·

A threshold drain for connecting to a drain system and collecting an incoming flow of water from a predetermined direction across a threshold at the installation site. The drain includes a catch pan with portions defining a pan outlet. A flange pipe is coupled to the pan outlet for the purpose of connecting the threshold drain to the drain system. A grate is received within the catch pan and includes transverse webs and longitudinal webs. The transverse webs extend parallel to one another along the width of the catch pan and are spaced above the pan bottom wall. The longitudinal webs extend parallel to one another along the length of the catch pan and are supported by the transverse webs above the pan bottom wall in a fixed orientation. The fixed orientation is inclined toward the pan side walls adjacent to the incoming flow of water.

The present invention relates to a longitudinal grating plate for conduction of a fluid, and a method of manufacturing such a longitudinal grating. The longitudinal grating plate comprises a top portion and a bottom portion, and the top portion including a plurality of longitudinally extending apertures. The bottom portion including a plurality of laterally extending apertures, and which cross below and at least partially overlap with the longitudinally extending apertures thereby forming a fluid flow path, which passes from the top surface of the grating plate through the longitudinally extending apertures and the laterally extending apertures. The top portion and the bottom portion are formed from substantially one contiguous piece of material without welds or joins.
