A system for the automatic management of the wastewater and freshwater for recreational vehicles is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of sensors configured for monitoring a first volume of blackwater within a blackwater holding tank, a second volume of greywater within a greywater holding tank, and whether an egress conduit is attached to a sewage system. The system further includes a processor configured for receiving a plurality of first signals from the plurality of sensors and sending a plurality of second signals to at least one of a plurality of values within the system. The processor is configured for determining if the first volume and second volume exceeds a first predetermined maximum threshold and a second predetermined maximum threshold respectively, then transmitting one of the plurality of second signals to prevent matter and wastewater from entering at least one of the blackwater holding tank and greywater holding tank.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REMOTELY MONITORING WASTEWATER IN MANHOLE OF UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE NETWORK AND ALERTING
20220316933 · 2022-10-06 ·

The present disclosure relates to wastewater management that provides method and system for monitoring sewer manhole from a remote location. Sewer monitoring system configured in a sewer manhole receives measured values from level sensor and determines accuracy error in the measured values for different conditions. Thereafter, sewer monitoring system resolves the accuracy error in the measured values to obtain accurate measured values by either measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting first range limit for the measured values dynamically based on actual depth of sewer manhole, or iteratively measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting unique second range limit for the measured values dynamically. Finally, a risk associated with the sewer manhole based on the accurate measured values of the level sensor is determined, for monitoring the sewer manhole from a remote location.

A blocked sewer unit includes a substantially impermeable barrier having a first side exposed to the interior of a sewage network and a second side, the barrier movable in the direction of the second side in response to fluid pressure on the first side. The blocked sewer alert unit includes a transducer separated by the barrier from the sewage network, the transducer configured to generate an electrical signal when the barrier moves into the dry section. The blocked sewer alert unit includes an alarm circuit configured to convert the electrical signal into a user alert.

An example apparatus is for use in a system that includes a sewage pit, a suction pipe in the sewage pit, and a valve between the suction pipe and a vacuum pipe that connects to a sewer system. The apparatus includes a controller configured to perform operations that include: detecting a vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe, determining that the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe is below a predefined pressure, and preventing the valve from opening in response to determining that the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe is below the predefined pressure.

Partial blockage detection using backwater valve

The present disclosure describes systems and apparatus for detecting an impending sewer backup by detecting fluid undulations of predetermined magnitude inside a main body of a backwater valve. When at least a predetermined number of fluid undulations of predetermined magnitude are detected within a predetermined time period, an alarm can be triggered. Such undulations can be detected by monitoring a buoyant gate in a normally-open backwater valve to detecting instances of movement of the gate from a lowered position in which fluid flow from an inlet through the backwater valve is unobstructed by the gate toward but stopping short of a raised position in which the gate closes the inlet to obstruct fluid flow through the valve. For example, a sensor can be carried on the gate to detect movement of the gate. Alternatively, fluid levels inside the main body can be monitored directly.

Toilet management system and management device

A toilet management system includes a toilet bowl device installed in a toilet room, a management device configured to manage a use situation of the toilet bowl device, and a communication device configured to transmit use situation information related to the use situation of the toilet bowl device to the management device. The management device includes an acquirer configured to acquire the use situation information from the communication device, and an abnormality detector configured to detect an abnormality of the toilet bowl device or a facility or equipment installed inside or around the toilet room when the use situation information acquired by the acquirer matches a predetermined condition.

Curb for measuring flood depth in urban area

The present invention provides a curb for measuring the flood depth in an urban area, more particularly, to a curb for measuring the flood depth in an urban area, which is configured to demarcate the boundary between a vehicular roadway and a pedestrian sidewalk to measure the flood depth so that the flood depth in the urban area can be measured without the necessity for additional installation of a separate structure. In particular, the present invention has an effect in that an air contact type water level gauge is installed in a first space of a main body to measure the flood depth, i.e., the level of flooding water based on the internal air pressure of a cylindrical tube so that a pressure sensor is not brought into close contact with the flooding water to prevent corrosion of the pressure sensor, thereby reducing the maintenance and repair costs.

System for collecting debris

A system for collecting debris created for small-scale outflow pipes, including a collection net made of durable lightweight mesh material, for capturing debris and allowing for free flow of fluid. The collection net configured to be attached to an outflow pipe using a fixed collar and a movable collar. The system designed such that the fixed collar fits securely on outflow pipe, and the movable collar fits such that it may move towards the fixed collar longitudinally along the outflow pipe. A pressure sensor attached to the fixed collar triggers an electrical signal to alert users when a threshold capacity of the collection net is exceeded, by the pressure imparted by movable collar onto the pressure senor. An electrical signal triggers control unit to alert users when a predefined threshold is exceeded, by indicating via an indicator that capacity limits of collected debris have been exceeded.
