METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT
A method, a system and an apparatus for wastewater treatment using a combination of separation of fat, oil and grease (FOG) and biological treatment for reducing the amount of fat, oil and grease (FOG) in wastewater with the aid of a liquid culture of microorganisms is provided. In particular, the technology disclosed relates to a method and process for the separation and treatment of FOG, as well as a container tank and an outlet pipe construction adapted for improving the gravimetric FOG separation process and the breaking down of FOG using microorganisms.
Tile floor drain
A tile drain and method of installing a tile drain is provided. The tile drain includes a drain body and a drain cover. The drain body defines a top opening, top weep apertures, and bottom weep apertures. The top opening receives the drain cover and serves as the primary drain for the tile drain. The top weep apertures are positioned below a top layer, such as a tile layer, of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top layer and a top waterproofing layer of the base. The sub weep apertures are positioned below the top waterproofing layer of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top waterproofing layer and a bottom waterproofing layer of the base. The drain body is encapsulated within the base, but the drain cover is adjustable relative to, and removable from, the drain body.
Plastic pipe with bell joint
A pipe made of plastics includes a female end with a bell joint suitable to receive a male end of another pipe and an inner wall with a seat for a gasket suitable to abut an external wall of the male end. When the pipe and other pipe are connected, a joint is formed having a hydraulic seal. The inner wall of the bell joint has at least one closing lip with an annular shape, which extends towards the inside of the bell joint, towards an external front edge of the bell joint, and includes an abutment edge, which adheres to, and tightens with a predefined force, the external wall of the male end. The closing lip is interposed between the external front edge and the seat and forms, with the inner wall, an annular cavity that opens in the direction of the external front edge.
System and method for sealing an annular space of a sewer connection line
A system and method for reducing the amount of infiltrate entering a sewer system is provided. The system generally comprises a locking sleeve, hydrophilic gasket, and a locking mechanism, wherein a lateral porthole of said locking sleeve is surrounded by said hydrophilic gasket. The system is preferably installed at a lateral line connection point, wherein a hydrophilic gasket located around the lateral porthole creates the water barrier that prevents infiltrate from entering a newly refurbished host pipe through the hole cut to reestablish flow from the lateral line to the host pipe at the lateral line connection point.

Concrete sanitary sewer pipes and manholes featuring a protective plastic liner
A prefabricated composite concrete element for use in a corrosive sewer environment. The concrete element has a hollow reinforced cast concrete portion with at least one end having connection details, a premolded corrosion resistant inner plastic liner. The plastic liner lines an interior of the hollow concrete element and the connection details to provide abutting liner faces in an assembled joint to limit exposure through said joint of said concrete portion to corrosive materials arising in said sewer environment. At least two prefabricated composite concrete elements may be assembled end to end at a joint to form a concrete sewer system. Also disclosed are a method of prefabricating such a composite concrete element.
Circular catch basin
A catch basin comprising a circular collar with a first internal diameter, configured to receive a downwardly extending circular drain pipe. A sump for receiving downward water flow from the circular collar is integrally formed with the circular collar, the sump being shaped to include two differently shaped cylindrical portions. The shape of the sump facilitates both the ability to stack multiple units of the sump one upon another for packaging, shipping, and sale. The shape of the sump also facilitates the ability to remove an internal stub attached to the sump, to improve water flow in the remaining structure.
Systems for measuring properties of water in a water distribution system
Systems and methods of measuring properties of water in a water distribution system are provided. An analysis system, according to one embodiment, comprises a plurality of water sensors connected at various points to the water distribution system, each of the plurality of water sensors configured to measure a property of water. The analysis system also includes a computer server configured to communicate with the plurality of water sensors via a network and receive water measurement data from the plurality of water sensors. The computer server comprises a processor, a database configured to store the water measurement data, and a system health monitoring module configured to evaluate the health of the water distribution system to obtain health data. The analysis system further includes at least one client device configured to communicate with the computer server via the network and receive the health data from the computer server.
Drainage channel with a drainage body and a cover
A stable and variable design of a drainage structure includes a drainage body (11) and a cover (20). The cover (20) has engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′; 23, 23′) when seen in a longitudinal direction of the drainage body (11), whereby the cover connects upper edges (12, 12′) of the drainage body (11) to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction in a tension-resistant manner over the entire length of the drainage body. In order to allow the use of different covers (20) for different loads, for example while using the same drainage body (11), two types of engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′) are provided on the drainage body.
Composite underground pipe structure
A composite pipe structure including a pair of structural polymer layers disposed on opposed sides of a central metal layer. In a preferred embodiment, the thickness of the composite structure is comprised of approximately 40%-60% of the metal layer, with the remaining balance comprised of the pair of polymer layers.
