An intake nozzle fits onto the suction hose of a vacuum pumper truck. The nozzle comprises a tubular housing and the rotor within the housing near the intake end. The rotor includes a hollow cylindrical canister and spiral vanes on its exterior. Ambient air enters an air tube, penetrates the side of the housing and supplies ambient air to the interior of the canister. The air exits through outlet ports into the liquid waste as it moves past under vacuum. The injected air reduces the density of the liquid waste, speeding up the pumping process and reducing the incidence of blockages.

A water drainage device can be inserted into a water pipe, and includes a main body including, a first surface facing the flow of water in the water pipe; a pipe contacting section having an edge lying essentially flush with the inner profile of the water pipe, prohibiting water from flowing past the pipe contacting section; a water inlet in the pipe contacting section facing the water flow in the water pipe; a water outlet connected to a water removal component; a water drainage channel, extending through the main body from the water inlet to outlet, the main body further including a width dimension, between the first surface and a second surface, that enables the device to be inserted into the water pipe through seams or joints in the water pipe. The water drainage device is adapted to enable water to be drained from the water pipe.
