The first building element is connected to the second building element by at least one connecting device. The connecting device includes a load transfer element arranged in the first building element, and a support box molded into the second building element. The support box includes an inner bottom wall surface and a support box opening facing the first building element. The connecting device further includes a first sound-absorbing element arranged on the inner bottom wall surface of the support box, and a support plate which is arranged on top of the first sound-absorbing element. The load transfer element protrudes from the first building element and into the support box through the support box opening. A filling area is molded with a filling material. The filling area includes the support box and an area between the first building element and the second building element.

An orthogonal part of each surface of a rectangular parallelepiped has a structure wherein a surface of edge of lumber 11s of a CLT panel 11 is made abut on an inner main surface 10i of a CLT panel 10 and joined thereto by a joining member 2 so that a surface of edge of lumber 10s of the CLT panel 10 and an outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 are flush. A joining part by the joining member 2 has a structure wherein the surface of edge of lumber 10s and the inner main surface 10i and outer main surface 10o of the CLT panel 10 are opened so that the outer main surface 10o side is wider than the inner main surface 10i side, the surface of edge of lumber 11s and at least the outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 are opened so that the inner side of the CLT panel 11 is wider than the surface of edge of lumber 11s side, and the butterfly joint-shaped joining member 2 is inserted into the opening of the CLT panel 10 and the opening of the CLT panel 11 from the surface of edge of lumber 10s of the CLT panel 10 and the outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 side.

Modular Panel System

A modular panel is provided and includes a sill plate, a top plate, a plurality of vertical studs, and having at least one skin applied to a major face of the modular panel that presents a first edge having a waveform profile configured to connect to an opposing edge of an adjacent modular panel. At least one of the vertical studs is an end stud having a connector element configured to be secured to a complementing connector of the adjacent modular panel. Two or more of the modular panels may be connected together to form part of a shelter.

A modular building system, includes a modular building assembly, including a base mounting structure with first and second base angle brackets; a left receiving wall assembly, including a left primary wall assembly, and left front and left rear corner brackets; a right primary wall assembly, and right front and right rear corner brackets; and front and rear wall assemblies; and a platform with legs; such that the modular building assembly is positionable on a top surface of the platform.

Shower enclosure system

A shower enclosure comprises a plurality of prefabricated panels that are arranged to at least partially surround a space for bathing. At least one of the panels is a layered structure having a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The first layer forms an interior surface of the shower enclosure exposed to the space for bathing. The third layer is arranged between the first layer and the second layer, and is coupled to the first layer and the second layer. The layered structure is a sandwich structured composite comprising the first layer, second layer, and third layer.

INTEGRATED COMPONENTS AND SERVICES IN COMPOSITE PANELIZED BUILDING SYSTEM AND METHOD

Systems and methods are described herein for a composite building panel for use in a panelized structure. In some aspects, a composite building panel may include: a core defining a channel formed via subtractive manufacturing; a utility conduit placed or formed in and bonded to the channel and enclosed by the core, where the utility conduit exits the core along a first mating edge of the core; and first and second skin elements bonded to the core to form a layered structure. In some cases, the layered structure may also include a reinforced block coupled to at least the first fiber-reinforced skin element and defining part of the first mating edge, where the reinforced block defines a first portion of the first mating edge for mating with another composite building panel of the panelized structure.

Bracket

The invention relates to a bracket to restrain a partition wall in the interior of a building. The bracket comprises a body having a generally hollow sheath and a shaft that is slidable within the sheath to adjust the bracket. The bracket is particularly suitable for supporting internal partition walls of buildings that are located in areas prone to earthquakes and high winds because the bracket allows for the wall to be laterally supported while also accommodating vertical movement experienced during building deflection and inter-storey drift without transferring compression and expansion loads onto the partition wall.

The insulating barrier of a panel including has a first stratum and a second stratum, each having a plurality of ridges that face each other, and run athwart of each other. Clearance between at least some adjacent pairs of the ridges provide a mechanical chase that reaches across at least most of the panel. A cladding overlaying at least one side of the insulating barrier is denser than the barrier. The mechanical chase is in the form of a groove through which a utility feed can be routed when the panel is to be mounted in a building.

A method for on-site assembly of a shelter for an above-ground structure to protect the structure from blast, wind, fire or other physical hazards. A pyramidal shelter with triangular or rectangular base is formed by joining side panels to each other. Each side panel includes a triangular frame covered, except at access hatch, observation port and door openings, with either steel plate or diamond steel mesh to which blast-resistant, fire-resistant or other kinds of coatings or panels are applied. A corner anchor assembly to support each corner of a shelter has a lower plate, an overlying split plate, and a pair of upstanding, anchor rods attached to the split plates for insertion into hollow, lower portions of side beams of adjacent side panels. The corner anchor assemblies facilitate expansion of an assembled shelter by addition of more modular components.
