Sag-resistant acoustic board
Described herein is an acoustic building panel comprising a body comprising inorganic fiber in an amount ranging from about 60.0 wt. % to about 90.0 wt. % based on the total weight of the body; and microfibrillated fiber in an amount ranging from about 0.5 wt. % to about 10 wt. % based on the total weight of the body.
Method for dewatering acoustical panels
The disclosure provides a method of forming an acoustical panel base mat, including providing a green board including an alkyl ether sulfate surfactant, wherein the green board includes from about 10 to about 40 wt. % solids, and dewatering the green board slurry to form a dewatered green board, wherein the dewatering comprises supplying hot air and applying a vacuum to the green board.
Concrete element comprising a sound-absorber
The invention concerns a reinforced concrete element comprising an at least partially open-cell foamed, sound-absorbing material which is partially exposed on a surface of the concrete element. The surface on which the foamed material is exposed consists only partially of the foamed material and the reinforcement is partially surrounded by the foamed material. The invention further concerns a method of producing the concrete element and the use thereof as an acoustic ceiling in a building.
SOUND-ABSORBING PANEL WITH MODIFIABLE SIZE AND/OR SHAPE AND ASSOCIATED MANUFACTURING METHOD
A sound-absorbing panel comprising a padding layer with a first face, a second face and an edge, a fabric and fastening members for fixing the fabric to the padding layer, is described, wherein the padding layer comprises a layer of heat-bonded synthetic fibers, wherein the density of the fibers in the proximity of the first face and in the proximity of the second face is greater than the density of the fibers in the central zone of the padding layer, wherein the fabric is arranged so as to adhere to the first face and to the edge of the padding layer and form fabric flaps along the second face, wherein the fastening members are removable fastening members and are configured to fix at least one of the fabric flaps to the padding layer along the second face.
Sound dampening wall
An acoustic dampening dual-stud construction member is disclosed herein. The dual-stud construction member is composed of two single studs adhered to each other with an acoustic dampening material and spaced a fixed distance apart from each other as a single unitary member which may be used in building construction. Walls having a high sound transmission coefficient may be quickly and easily assembled using the unitary member composed of two studs.
CONCRETE PANEL FOR CONSTRUCTING FLOOR OF BUILDING, SHOCK ABSORPTION UNIT, AND FLOOR CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURE FOR BUILDING INCLUDING SAME
The present invention relates to a concrete panel for forming a floor of a building, a shock absorption unit, and a floor construction structure including the same. The present invention provides a concrete panel comprising: a base plate; a partition wall protruding from the upper portion of the base plate in a lattice structure or in honeycombed structure; and a filling cell which is formed by the partition wall and includes a filling material embedded therein. Further, the present invention provides a floor construction structure for a building, including the concrete panel. According to the present invention, a floor of a building can be firmly and simply constructed with the excellent inter-floor sound insulation property, etc.
