Wall Panel System
20220389719 · 2022-12-08 ·

A wall system comprising a frame and one or more panels removably attached to the frame, wherein the one or more panels are positioned over one or more cutouts of the frame to form a substantially coplanar surface.

Building blocks and rear interlock connector therefor

An interlock connector interlocks building blocks that are assembled so as to provide a wall structure. The building blocks have respective front surfaces for defining a front façade of the wall structure and respective rear surfaces with at least one respective horizontal groove. The interlock connector comprises first and second bodies. The first body is inserted in the rear surface horizontal groove of a first building block. The second body is inserted in the rear surface horizontal groove of a second building block adjacent the first building block. Insertion of the first and second bodies in the respective rear surface horizontal grooves of the first and second building blocks provides for interlocking the first and second building blocks.

Methods, Systems, and Kits for Building Interlocking Seawalls
20220042306 · 2022-02-10 ·

This disclosure provides methods, systems, and kits for building seawalls using mechanically interlocking blocks. The interlocking blocks have interiors that can be filled with sand, gravel, or cementitious material after formation of a wall. The interlocking blocks that can be connected on any side to form a structure, wall, foundation, floor, building, flotation device, gardening structure, or toy. The interlocking blocks typically comprise center openings and connecting openings on each side and can be connected with hardware through the connecting openings. The center openings allow for materials such as pipes, wires, conduit, and rebar to pass through interlocked blocks. Connected blocks can also be filled with fortifying material to strengthen the structure. Sides of connected blocks can be covered with faceplates to direct flow of fortifying material and aid in the creation of desired configurations. Also provided are connectors for connecting sides of the interlocking blocks.

MODULAR CONSTRUCTION OF LOAD-BEARING STRUCTURES FROM REUSABLE LOAD-BEARING ELEMENTS

A new civil infrastructure construction scheme is provided that is capable of meeting various objectives, including reducing climate change, addressing labor shortage issues, and enhancing construction productivity. Methods of forming load-bearing structures include placing a first reusable load-bearing element adjacent to a second reusable load-bearing element. The first reusable load-bearing element is fixed with respect to the second reusable load-bearing element without any adhesive or mortar. The first reusable load-bearing element and the second reusable load-bearing element respectively have a compressive strength of greater than or equal to about 25 MPa. The first and second reusable load-bearing elements optionally may be formed by additive manufacturing with a printable cementitious composition, such as an engineered cementitious composite.

Interlocking Composite Construction Block

Embodiments relate to an enhanced method for building walls by primarily reducing the time for assembly. The design is for a molded multi-segment plastic composite construction block that interlocks horizontally, vertically and orthogonally with a clearance-fit, does not require mortar for structural integrity and is self-aligning. The blocks are molded out of natural-fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites with thermal expansion coefficient less than 0.0002 per degree Celsius and compression strength greater than 60 MPa.

ASSEMBLY-TYPE BRICK SET
20220002993 · 2022-01-06 ·

The present invention is an assembly-type brick set. More specifically, the present invention is an assembly-type brick set which not only maximizes structural rigidity and fastening performance but is also able to, by excluding use of brittle bonding agent such as concrete mortar, prevent damage and collapse of a wall even in cases of severe shaking, such as during earthquakes.

This assembly-type brick set comprises a brick portion in which is formed at least one brick hole which penetrates a brick body vertically, and a joint which is inserted into the brick hole, wherein: the brick hole is formed in the shape of an hour glass wherein the diameter of a middle portion is smaller than a top diameter and a bottom diameter; the joint is formed so that its top portion fits into the bottom of the brick hole, and its bottom portion fits into the top of the brick hole; a plurality of brick portions is provided stacked vertically adjacent to each other; and, an assembled brick structure is achieved by inserting the joint between the adjacently stacked brick portions.

PROCESS FOR MAKING A PANELED WALL HAVING ABUTMENT JOINTS SEALED BY A DUAL GASKET ASSEMBLY

Process for making a paneled wall comprising a first wall panel module comprising a first wall panel and a dual gasket assembly, a second wall panel, and a sealed abutment joint between the first wall panel and the second wall panel, wherein the dual gasket assembly comprises a compressible interior gasket, a support coupling, and a compressible weather gasket, the process including the steps of attaching the dual gasket assembly to an edge face of the first wall panel to form a first wall panel module, aligning the second wall panel relative to the first wall panel module, and compressing the gaskets of the dual gasket assembly between edge face of the first wall panel and the edge face of the second wall panel to seal the abutment joint.
