SOUND ISOLATION ASSEMBLIES FOR WALLS SUPPORTING HEAVY LOADS
A sound isolation assembly comprising: one or more backing plates; one or more acoustic isolators; and a backing block. The acoustic isolators may be secured between the backing plates and the backing block when the backing plates are fastened to the backing block. When the backing plates are fastened to the backing block, the backing plates are substantially prevented by the acoustic isolators from being in direct contact with the backing block. The acoustic isolators may be fastened to the studs. The sound isolation assembly, when installed in a wall that is supporting a heavy load, raises the Sound Transmission Class rating of that wall.
SPACER FOR INTERCONNECTING ADJACENT ELONGATED MEMBERS, A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND A METHOD AND A USE OF SAID SPACER
A spacer for interconnecting in a frame structure, adjacent elongated members. Said spacer comprises: a main member having opposite ends, at least one first attachment plate, and a at least one second attachment plate, the at least one first attachment plate being adapted to be secured to one of the opposite ends of the main member, and the at least one second attachment plate being adapted to be secured to the other of the opposite ends, wherein the at least one first attachment plate is adapted to cooperate with at least one fastener for fastening the same to one of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the at least one second attachment plate is adapted to cooperate with at least one fastener for fastening the same to the other of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the main member has a length and a width, the length corresponding to a distance separating the adjacent elongated members, the width being close to the width of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the main member is further provided with at least one portion comprising an opening obstructed by a corresponding removable element fastened to the main member by at least one breakable member, and wherein when the at least one breakable member is broken, the element is removed to give access to the opening. Also, a method for manufacturing the spacer, a method of use of said spacer and a use of said spacer.
Modular wall panels and system
Modular wall panels having a frame of a plurality of frame components and at least one wall sheet affixed to the frame. The frame components may have angled ends, straight ends, or a combination thereof to collectively form a frame which may include corners. Each frame component includes an outer surface with at least one aperture configured to receive and retain an insert therein. The apertures are also configured to permit a cable(s) to pass therethrough for running cables and such through the interior of the wall panel. Connectors and spacers may be inserted into the apertures as inserts and bridge between adjacent panels to selectively connect the panels. Caps may be placed in empty apertures to cover the openings for aesthetic purposes. A wall system includes a plurality of such wall panels connected to one another along the outer surfaces of the frame components of their respective frames.
Modular bathroom structure
The various embodiments herein provide a modular shower seat connected to a wall structure comprising a mounting base component, a connecting elongated component and a primary functional component. The mounting base component is fixed against a wall structure through a holding medium. The mounting base component comprises a vertical base plate. The vertical base plate comprises a plurality of fastener holes and a plurality of vertical slots. The connecting elongated component is attached to the mounting base component through a plurality of fastening medium. The connecting elongated component comprises a pair of vertical bases. Each vertical base is orthogonally fixed to the vertical base plate by fitting the vertically opposite brackets into the vertically opposite slots of the vertical base plate. The primary functional component is fixed over the connecting elongated component.

Z-shaped bracket for wood backing and fireproofing
A z-shaped bracket includes a first flange surface, a second flange surface and a connecting web surface. The first flange surface has a plurality of holes therethrough. The connecting web surface connects the first flange surface and the second flange surface at an offset distance. Where the second flange surface is parallel with the first flange surface and is offset the offset distance from the first flange surface. Wherein, the bracket is configured for installing wood blocking between metal studs.
Profiled section element with stepped sidewall
An elongate profiled section element for a mounting system includes a bottom, a top section opposite the bottom, and sidewalls extending from the bottom to the top section. The top section includes two flanges which extend from the side walls and delimit between them a longitudinal slot. The top section has a smaller width than the bottom. At least one of the side walls is a stepped sidewall having a stepped shape seen in cross section. The stepped sidewall has two wall sections facing the opposite sidewall and an intermediate wall section substantially parallel to the bottom. The intermediate wall section is provided with a row of holes and the bottom is provided with a row of holes aligned therewith, said holes being adapted to cooperate with a self tapping screw.
Clip for Support Relative to Studs
A support device for supporting a support member relative to a building structure can include a support body with a support-body opening that is sized to receive the support member. A first finger can extend into alignment with the support-body opening to secure the support member within the support-body opening. A first extension can be configured to move relative to at least part of the support body to move the first finger. Moving the first extension can move the first finger to release the support member to slide within the support-body opening.
