A modular unit for constructing a barrier, where the modular unit can fully or partially be manufactured in a factory for transport to the location of the barrier, with the modular units having a base and at least a pair of wall panels installed on the base. The modular units are assembled into the barrier by placing the modular units side-by-side along a line or curve on a mounting surface. The modular units are designed with features to prevent climbing or scaling over the barrier and support electronic and power equipment to protect and monitor the protected location.

A wall panel for a quick assemble wall system may include a first upright post and a second upright post. The wall panel may also include a lower stretcher for connecting the first upright post to the second upright post and an upper stretcher for connecting the first upright post to the second upright post. The wall panel may include at least one frame for placement within the first vertical post, the second vertical post, the lower stretcher, and the upper stretcher. The wall panel may include a first retractable latch located on the at least one frame, the first retractable latch adapted to engage at least one of the first upright post, second upright post, lower stretcher, or upper stretcher. A frame for a quick assemble wall system and a method of assembling a quick assemble wall system are also described.

Improvements in pre-fabricated modular wall sections to construct a building or house is disclosed. Adjacent side of the wall sections are tapered and dovetailed that lock-in-place. The dovetails are spaced to reduce the height that one section must be lifted to engage in an adjoining wall section. The footers/base plate will also have integrated earthquake or hurricane hold-downs in the footer/base plate that aligns and can be secured from the foundation to the wall sections. The connection of the wall section to the foundation to have counter flashing at the concrete insert and the wall-to-wall sections can be self-flashed. The wall sections can have GPS locators for positioning the wall sections. Plumbing and electrical conduit creating circuits that can be integrated into the walls and are connected sealed or bonded together.

A partition assembly includes partitions hingedly connected in series. The partitions include a frame with a spaced upright member, a mounting assembly, and upper and lower cross members connecting the upright members. One or both cross members include power and/or data ports. Panels disposed on either side of the frame are movable between upper and lower positions, providing access to the ports. Upper and lower hinge assemblies connect the partitions. The hinge assemblies include gear arms fixed to the upright members with gear heads extending away from the partition that engage the gear head of an adjacent partition. The upright members include aligned apertures defining ports providing a cable passageway from the interior of adjacent partitions. End foot assemblies extend from the ends of the partition assembly and interior foot assemblies extends from between the geared connections of the partitions.

A wall panel includes a first upright post, a second upright post, an upper stretcher connecting the first upright post to the second upright post, a lower stretcher connecting the first upright post to the second upright post, and a frame having an extrusion profile, wherein the extrusion profile is configured to couple the frame to the wall panel frame. A wall panel assembly includes a plurality of the wall panels.

A spacer for interconnecting in a frame structure, adjacent elongated members. Said spacer comprises: a main member having opposite ends, at least one first attachment plate, and a at least one second attachment plate, the at least one first attachment plate being adapted to be secured to one of the opposite ends of the main member, and the at least one second attachment plate being adapted to be secured to the other of the opposite ends, wherein the at least one first attachment plate is adapted to cooperate with at least one fastener for fastening the same to one of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the at least one second attachment plate is adapted to cooperate with at least one fastener for fastening the same to the other of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the main member has a length and a width, the length corresponding to a distance separating the adjacent elongated members, the width being close to the width of the adjacent elongated members, wherein the main member is further provided with at least one portion comprising an opening obstructed by a corresponding removable element fastened to the main member by at least one breakable member, and wherein when the at least one breakable member is broken, the element is removed to give access to the opening. Modular wall panels having a frame of a plurality of frame components and at least one wall sheet affixed to the frame. The frame components may have angled ends, straight ends, or a combination thereof to collectively form a frame which may include corners. Each frame component includes an outer surface with at least one aperture configured to receive and retain an insert therein. The apertures are also configured to permit a cable(s) to pass therethrough for running cables and such through the interior of the wall panel. Connectors and spacers may be inserted into the apertures as inserts and bridge between adjacent panels to selectively connect the panels. Caps may be placed in empty apertures to cover the openings for aesthetic purposes. A wall system includes a plurality of such wall panels connected to one another along the outer surfaces of the frame components of their respective frames.

A system and method for building a solid wall with a drop-in ceiling includes a floor track to be secured on a base floor. A support structure of studs is to be secured to the floor track. Cornice rails are to be placed on top of the studs. Splice plates are to connect ends of the cornice rails together. A top cladding is to be installed to at least a portion of the studs at a fixed distance below the top of the studs. The top cladding is to be installed prior to the cornice rails being secured to the top of the studs. Ceiling mounts are to be installed on top of the cladding in a manner that provides equal spacing reveals between the ceiling mounts and the cladding. Splice plates are to connect ends of the ceiling mounts together. A secondary cladding is to be installed to the studs. To complete the wall system, a drop-in ceiling is secured on top of the ceiling mounts.

A partition system includes a plurality of wall elements merging one into another, wherein at least one wall element is designed as a stepped element, and wherein at least one wall element is designed as a corner element.
