MOUNTING HARDWARE AND MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR VERTICAL PANELS
A mounting clip and a system for mounting a vertical panel from a support member suspended from a ceiling. The mounting clip has a panel mounting section, a support member receiving portion, and a movable mounting section. The support member receiving portion extends from the panel mounting section. The movable mounting section can be rotated relative to the support member receiving portion to secure the mounting clip to the support member.
CEILING PANEL ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a ceiling panel support assembly, including at least one support structure configured to provide at least one panel receiving region adjacent thereto, and at least one support hub structure to be centrally positioned in the at least one panel receiving region. The at least one support structure and the at least one support hub structure may be configured to support a plurality of panels therebetween, with at least a subset of the plurality of panels oriented in side-by-side relation along a circumferential region of the at least one support hub structure and extending outwardly therefrom.
SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
A suspension assembly (10) comprising: a support member (12) for supporting an item; an elongate suspension article (14) defining a securing opening (30); and a securing device (16) on the support member (12). The support member (12) defines an aperture (38) through which the suspension article (14) can be inserted. The securing device (16) has a securing member (68) movable across the aperture (38) between a securing position and a non-securing position. The securing member (68) is receivable through the securing opening (30) in the suspension article (14) to secure the support member (12) to the suspension article (14) when the suspension article (14) is received through the aperture (38) and the securing member (68) is in the securing position.
POCKET AND ADJUSTABLE TRIM PIECE FOR A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
An adjustable trim system for a suspended ceiling. The system has a perimeter pocket surround the suspended ceiling. The pocket has at least one hook on its exterior surface that are adapted to engage a related hook on a trim piece. The trim piece also, optionally, includes a stabilizer bar adapted to accept and hold a gasket or spacer between the bar and the bottom edge of the pocket hooks to provide additional rigidity. To assist in holding the gasket the top of the stabilizer bar and the bottom of the lowest bottom hook may be textured.
Assemblies for suspending ceiling panels
An assembly for suspending ceiling panels, having a frame and suspension members for suspending the frame from a structure, the frame having intersection members and support members extending therebetween, each support member being for supporting a respective side of the ceiling panel, and wherein the ends of the support members are configured to engage with engageable portions provided circumferentially about each of the intersection members.
Ceiling system
Described herein is a ceiling system in one embodiment includes a grid support member, ceiling panel, and grid hanger configured to support the grid support member in a suspended manner from an overhead structural support. The grid hanger includes a mounting bracket configured for attachment to the structural support and a hanger member. The hanger member is adjustable in a plurality of selectable mounting positions relative to the mounting bracket, thereby allowing the mounted height of the grid support member to be adjusted in the field. In some embodiment, the hanger member is further angularly adjustable relative to the mounting bracket to avoid installation obstacles. Locking elements are provided to secure the hanger member in the selected mounting position. In one embodiment, the grid support member may have a T-shaped cross section.
Suspension ceiling support clip
A suspension ceiling support clip including a body, a snap-fit connector disposed on the body, and a locking member disposed on the body. The snap-fit connector is configured to receive a first beam of a suspension ceiling that extends in a first direction. The locking member is configured to receive a second beam of the suspension ceiling that extends in a second direction, where the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.
SUSPENDED CEILING PANEL HOLDING CLIP
A hold down clip for retaining one or more ceiling panels on lower flanges of a suspended ceiling tee and allowing removal of the ceiling panels from below after installation. The hold down clip includes at least one outward curved section with a crest between an upper end and a lower end. The clip elastically deforms to produce reactive spring forces when a ceiling panel engages a contact point below the crest of the outward curved section. The clip also includes at least one continuously formed latching section, which may extend from the upper end, lower end, or a transition point below the crest of the outward curved section. The latching section engages the grid tee to generate the spring force. Alternatively, the clip includes a fastener secured to the at least one outward curved section. The fastener is configured for threaded attachment to a receptacle of the grid tee.
Suspended ceiling hanger clip
The present invention relates to a suspended ceiling hanger clip and a suspended ceiling formed using the hanger clip. The suspended ceiling hanger clip has a longitudinally extending base having a first end and a second end and a pair of generally parallel co-extensive flanges extending downwardly from the base. At least one projection in each flange is formed with a ramp surface. An aperture is formed in the base for receiving an upper end of the elongate suspension rod therein. The suspension rod has a longitudinal axis extending along a length between spaced apart upper and lower ends, with the lower end having an attachment means. The upper end of the suspension rod extends through and is fixedly retained from removal from the aperture in the base of the hanger clip.
