Linear Profile Support Element and Lighting Module For Suspended Ceiling Systems
A linear profile support element and ceiling grid lighting module for suspended ceiling systems is provided. The linear profile support element is configured to connect onto a T-bar within a ceiling grid system and has at least two lateral supporting portions to hold an optical device and ceiling panel in position with one or both offset from the ceiling grid plane. In embodiments having the ceiling panel on an upper lateral support portion, a recessed volume is created in the ceiling grid system which functions as an optical cavity for light from an optical device mounted at the lower lateral supporting portion. With a ceiling panel mounted on the lower lateral supporting portion, the panel is dropped with respect to the ceiling grid plane and the optical device can be aligned at an upper lateral supporting portion horizontally, for example to project light onto a surrounding ceiling panel and provide indirect lighting from the ceiling. Ceiling panels mounted on the lateral supporting portions can be either standard ceiling grid panels or panels alternatively configured for specific appearance or reflectance properties. Various embodiments are described that provide a range of useful mounting options for both the optical system and ceiling panel, including configurations with tilted ceiling panels. Multiple linear supporting elements can be used to create an enhanced three-dimensional appearance to the suspended ceiling system as well as interesting features such as fully or partially illuminated panels, cavities, coves or edges. Ceiling grid lighting module embodiments integrate the linear profile support element with an optical device for pre-configured light distribution and form factor that can be easily installed in a ceiling grid system.

Multifunctional ceiling support assembly for use in a suspended ceiling system
A multifunctional support assembly for use in a suspended ceiling system having a T-bar grid arrangement supporting ceiling tiles. The multifunctional ceiling support assembly comprises an elongate body having an elongate planar base portion having first and second lateral ends, first and second longitudinal ends, and a top plane; first and second connecting members each positioned at the first and second longitudinal ends of the elongate body and configured with support portions capable of attachment to the T-bar grid arrangement; and a third connecting member mounted on the top plane of the elongate body, the third connecting extends up from the elongate body and functions to separate and position ceiling tiles within the T-bar grid arrangement.
Panel system and support member for use with the same
An end panel bracket useful with a building panel system is provided. The end panel bracket comprises a base, a middle portion extending from the base, a shelf extending from the middle portion, a notch, and a ledge.
Suspension ceiling with parallel vanes for building structures
A suspended ceiling system for a building structure includes a plurality of parallel struts for supporting a plurality of parallel vanes suspended from the struts in perpendicular relationship thereto. The vanes can be suspended in downwardly spaced relationship to the struts or in contiguous relationship therewith and occur in different forms including illuminated vanes, adjustable vanes and the like.
Ceiling grid lighting assembly with linear lighting modules in parallel arrangement
A ceiling grid lighting assembly for use in suspended ceiling systems is provided with multiple linear lighting modules in parallel arrangement. End plates are used to connect, support, and enclose longitudinal ends of the elongate body of each linear lighting modules while simultaneously functioning as reflective faces for optical cavities. A configured gap spacing between individual linear lighting modules can be used to house and support components such as additional light sources, acoustic or decorative panels, HVAC components, or power systems, controls or sensors. The end plate can also be configured to allow a T-bar to be placed in the configured gap spacing thereby enabling the mounting of the assembly in-line upon the longitudinal axis of a ceiling grid T-bar. Embodiments of linear lighting modules are presented comprising LED light sources, light guides and diffusers housed within the elongate body. The light guides may be edgelit from one or two sides and aligned horizontally or tilted relative to the ceiling grid plane.
