FOAM FILLED STRUCTURAL PLANK BUILDING FOUNDATION WITH LAMINATED REINFORCEMENT
A foam filled structural plank made from a plurality of structural beams assembled together to form a structure capable of supporting the weight of a building thereon, wherein the plurality of structural beams define an enclosure therebetween and an outer perimeter therearound; and a structural building foam such as having expanded polystyrene foam having a density from 1.5 to 3.0 PFC filling the enclosure.
Insulated Panel and Method of Manufacturing an Insulated Panel
The invention relates to an insulated panel, in particular a wall panel or roof panel, including a foamed core layer and a cover layer affixed to the foamed core layer. The invention also relates to an insulating covering, in particular a wall covering or floor covering, including a plurality said insulated panels.
Decorative Panel and Method of Manufacturing a Decorative Panel
The invention relates to a decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, ceiling panel or wall panel, and to a method for manufacturing such decorative panel. The panel according to the present invention comprises includes at least one foamed layer comprising including an upper side and a lower side, and at least one decorative solid layer either directly or indirectly, affixed on said upper side of the foamed layer, wherein both the foamed layer and the decorative solid layer are wood based materials. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of such panels.
Insulation panel for construction and manufacturing method thereof
A multilayer thermal insulation panel for construction and manufacturing method thereof are described. A manufacturing method of a backing layer of a multilayer thermal insulation panel for construction, the method comprising the steps of: providing a reinforcement layer in fibrous material, spreading a first fluid mineral mixture on the reinforcement layer to form a cladding layer of the reinforcement layer; forming a fire-resistant layer comprising expansive graphite on the cladding layer; and drying the backing layer.
Building Panels and Method of Building Construction
A set of structurally insulated panels and method of building construction, the set of panels having an indexing system that allows for any one panel to be easily attached to any other panel via indexing pins placed in pre-arranged openings. The indexing system enables essentially any number of panels to be assembled in essentially any reasonable manner to construct a building structure.
Integral weather barrier panels
The present invention provides a panel sheathing for making wall and roof structures in which the panels (e.g., wood boards, oriented strand boards, plywood, etc.) are pre-coated at a factory, before installation at the building/construction site, using a polymeric barrier coating having specific water permeability, self-sealing properties with respect to penetrated metal fasteners (e.g., nails) in accordance with ASTM D7349 (modified using 1.5-5.0 inches water depth in hydrostatic head testing over sample of coated panel in which a steel nail is driven to within ⅛ inches of being flush with the panel and conditioning the test specimen for 24 hours at 23° C. prior to hydrostatic loading), as well as anti-blocking properties whereby the coated panels can be transported in stacked configuration without sticking or disintegration of the polymeric barrier coating. The coated panels do not require the use at the installation site of felt paper, house wrap, or additional applied barrier coating to provide excellent weather barrier properties. The present invention also provides methods for constructing the panel sheathing structure as well as for making the coated panels.
Method of manufacturing OSB with extruded polymer bands
A system for introducing a noise-dampening polymer in-line in the manufacturing process of a manufactured wood product to achieve higher acoustic performance in siding, sheathing, roofing, flooring, and similar applications using the manufactured wood product. Several lines or bands of the noise-dampening polymer are deposited transversely across one side or face of the product. The polymer is deposited where the product is expected to contact joists or studs. The polymer may be a viscoelastic polymer.
Insulation panel for construction and manufacturing method thereof
A multilayer thermal insulation panel for construction and manufacturing method thereof are described. The multilayer thermal insulation panel comprising: a main layer in thermally insulating material comprising a first surface and an opposite second surface; a first backing layer of the main layer connected to the main layer along the first surface; a second backing layer of the main layer connected to the main layer along the second surface. At least one of the first and second backing layers comprising: a reinforcement layer in fibrous material, a fire-resistant layer comprising expansive graphite, and a cladding layer made on the reinforcement layer and configured to be sandwiched between the fire-resistant layer and the reinforcement layer.
Engineered waterproof plastic composite flooring and wall covering planks
Waterproof engineered floor and wall planks have a veneer layer bonded with a plastic composite core, and an underlayer, preferably an underlayer of cork.
Field fabricated shower system
Apparatus and methods for constructing a shower pan. The shower pan is constructed from wedge panels having a foam core and facers on major surfaces of the wedge panels. The wedge panels are cut into portions that fit regions of the shower pan area. The wedge panel portions are placed in the regions such that the sloped upper surfaces of the wedge panel portions collectively form a continuous surface that at all locations slopes downward toward the drain of the shower. Pans for a wide variety of shower shapes and sizes can be constructed. The shower pan may be efficiently constructed on-site, often using common tools and techniques.
