Sandwich panel and building module
A building module which is a sandwich panel comprising a first region which provides part of the roof structure of a building, a second region which provides part of the wall structure of the building, and a third region which provides part of the floor structure of the building.
CLADDING ELEMENT FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTION AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing cladding elements for use in construction, including a composite cement-based structure, including an elastically deformable support element having a first surface, a second surface and a plurality of spacer elements having an elongated shape positioned between the first and second surface to realize a plurality of interconnected cavities. The method further provides preparing a substantially fluid and water-based cementitious composition and introducing the substantially fluid cementitious composition into the support element to obtain a composite structure in a deformable state. After this, part of the fluid cementitious composition is removed from the support element, to eliminate the excess fluid cementitious composition and position the deformable composite structure in a forming device. The method provides for maintaining the deformable composite structure in association with the forming device, until the consolidation thereof and that said support element is constituted by a three-dimensional elastically deformable fabric.
SANDWICH PANEL AND BUILDING MODULE
A building module which is a sandwich panel comprising a first region which provides part of the roof structure of a building, a second region which provides part of the wall structure of the building, and a third region which provides part of the floor structure of the building.
FIRE RETARDANT BOARD
The invention comprises a fire retardant board comprising a core formed from flute paper, wherein the flute paper is pre-impregnated with a flame retardant. The core is formed as a three dimensional body presenting a first face and a second face opposed to said first face and a wall structure which defines a plurality of channels intersecting the first face at an angle (a) which is 90 degrees or less than 90 degrees. The board further comprises a first liner attached to the first face and an adhesive arranged to fix the first liner to the first face of the core. The invention further comprises a method for manufacturing a fire retardant board comprising the steps of providing a core formed from flute paper, which is pre-impregnated with a flame retardant, applying an adhesive to the first face of the core, and laminating a first liner to the first face of the board.
Insulating wall panels for building construction and related methods
Wall panels for building construction may include a corrugated sheet including a first series of peaks on a first side of the corrugated sheet configured for positioning to face a room interior. The corrugated sheet may also include a second series of peaks on a second, opposite side of the corrugated sheet configured for positioning to face a room exterior. A radiant barrier including a material reflective to heat may be secured only to the second series of peaks. The corrugated sheet may form pockets of air between the radiant barrier and the corrugated sheet.
Modular partition and fabrication thereof
A modular device adapted for subdividing room space, the modular device comprising: a panel comprising a corrugated portion positioned between a first planar surface and a second planar surface of the panel, wherein the peaks of the corrugated portion are in engagement with the first planar surface, wherein the troughs of the corrugated portion are in engagement with the second planar surface; the first planar surface and the second planar surface each having a first end and a second end; wherein the first and second ends of the first planar surface are respectively opposite relatively to the first and second ends of the second planar surface; the second planar surface is parallel to the first planar surface; wherein the corrugations are is parallel to the vertical axis of the panel; a concave female portion positioned along the vertical axis in the panel, wherein the concave female portion is formed from at least: the first end of the first planar surface, the first end of the second planar surface, and a curved portion from the corrugated portion; a convex male portion positioned along the vertical axis of the panel, wherein the convex male portion is positioned outside of the second end of the first planar surface and the second end of the second planar surface; wherein to extend the length of the panel, the convex male portion of a first panel is adapted to engage with the concave female portion of a second panel.
CORE LAYER HAVING WOOD ELEMENTS, IN PARTICULAR WOOD ELEMENTS HAVING A CORRUGATED STRUCTURE
A core layer suitable for a multilayer composite including at least one surface layer and one core layer, the surface layer arranged to at least partially cover the core layer and be fixedly connected thereto, wherein the core layer has elements composed of wood, which elements have plate-like regions arranged in zig-zag-shaped fashion, wherein a plate-like zig region of an element with an adjoining plate-like zag region of the element form a common edge between them, in such a way that the wood element of zig-zag-shaped form is formed, wherein elements of zig-zag-shaped form are arranged in the core layer such that two such edges of two different elements cross one another at a non-zero angle, and wherein the two elements are fixedly connected to one another at the crossing point. In one embodiment, a wood element of zig-zag-shaped form may be adhesively bonded to a planar wood element.
Pre-assembled wall panel for utility installation
An example pre-assembled wall panel may include a panel frame which includes a plurality of studs connected to opposing end members, first and second wall boards connected to opposite first and second sides of the panel frame, a plurality of spacers attached to at least one of the first and second wall boards and configured to support a finish panel in a spaced relation from the at least one of the first and second wall boards; and a pipe disposed between the first and second wall boards and extending between the opposing end members, wherein the pipe includes a pipe diverter, and wherein a free end of the pipe diverter passes through an opening in the first wall board or the second wall board.
