Metal decking
In one implementation, a metal deck is provided that includes one or more deck components formed in a contiguous metal sheet. Each of the deck components includes one or more folded ribs formed along the length of the metal deck. Each of the one or more folded ribs are configured such that one or more trusses of a building may fit between the one or more folded ribs. The metal deck may be used to complete the structural diaphragm without using concrete.
TWO-PIECE TRACK SYSTEM
A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.

Collapsible tubular mast (CTM) with surface material between trusses
A trussed collapsible tubular mast includes a deformable beam having an extended state, a flattened state, and a rolled state, where a stiffness and strength of the deformable beam in the extended state is greater than a different stiffness and a different strength of the deformable beam in the flattened state. At least one collapsible tubular mast wall has a plurality of truss members of a first material having a first material thickness. At least one truss member is disposed substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the trussed collapsible tubular mast. Disposed between the truss members is a wall area of a second material thickness less thick than the first material thickness.
METAL FRAMING SELF-LOCKING CONNECTORS
The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking fixed and sliding connections between support members and crossing connecting members without using fasteners to connect the two crossing metal framing members together. Different variations of the shapes of the connecting members as well as the location and shape of the notches, ledges, tabs and notched-tabs are used between the members at the holes, punch-outs or indentations all determine the self-locking connections.

Steel Thermal Stud
Disclosed herein is a steel thermal stud being capable to provide structural and non-load bearing characteristics. The steel thermal stud with more than one dual flange stud provides additional and separated penetration locations for mounting screws allowing multiple connection points on the screw. The Steel Thermal Stud with multiple stud walls for a fastener to penetrate to prevent the movement of the fastener in any direction, prevent deformation of the stud wall material, prevent fasteners from backing out by having additional contact with less potential movement, provide more pull-out strength, and more strip resistance of the fasteners during installation.
Steel Thermal Stud And Method Of Manufacture Thereof
Disclosed herein is a steel thermal stud and method of manufacturing thereof. The steel thermal stud of the present invention can be used in load bearing and non-load bearing applications as a direct replacement for wood studs, however installed the same as traditional steel studs. The steel thermal stud is able to be insulated with a variety of insulation products depending on the application, and the stud discloses a superior thermal and acoustic properties while being much lighter than wood studs.
COLLAPSIBLE TUBULAR MAST (CTM) WITH SURFACE MATERIAL BETWEEN TRUSSES
A deformable support apparatus includes a deformable body configured to transition between at least an extended state and a contracted state where a stiffness of the deformable body in the extended state is greater than a corresponding stiffness of the deformable body in the contracted state. The deformable body includes a first member and a second member coupled to and in opposition to the first member, and arranged about a longitudinal axis. In the extended state, the first member has at least a first curved portion and the second member has at least a second curved portion. The at least a first curved portion is a positive curved portion with respect to the longitudinal axis and the at least a second curved portion is a negative curved portion with respect to the longitudinal axis.
Deck framing system
A deck framing system includes a perimeter support member that has a joist support wall and a web wall extending perpendicularly from the joist support wall and an overhang wall extending perpendicularly from the web wall. First and second joist support brackets include a joist support portion and a pair of attachment wings, where each one of the pair of attachment wings contacting the web wall of the perimeter support member. First and second joists each include a deck support wall and a lower wall. The deck support walls of the first and second joists are disposed between the overhang wall and the joist support portions, and the lower walls are disposed between the joist support portions and the joist support wall.
