Apparatus and process for producing pultruded FRP rebar
Apparatus for producing bent multi-sided pultruded fibre reinforced plastic reinforcement bar for concrete (commonly known as FRP rebar) comprises multiple resin wetting stages to simultaneously resin impregnate multiple bundles of fibreglass rovings continuously drawn through the resin wetting stages, multiple spiral winding stages arranged to spiral wind warps around the multiple wet rovings, and multiple rotating multi-sided former frames for continuously winding thereon the multiple wet rovings and holding the multiple rovings while curing. A related method is also claimed.

COARSE AGGREGATE FOR CONCRETE
Provided is a novel metallic coarse aggregate for concrete which can be used as a coarse aggregate which is one of the essential constituents of concrete, can further improve the compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete, is less likely to be sedimented in fresh concrete, and has good productivity at a low cost. The metallic coarse aggregate for concrete includes a coarse aggregate body including a spherical cap portion bonded body having two hollow spherical cap portions and an annular portion protruding from a surface of the spherical cap portion bonded body so as to surround an outer periphery of the spherical cap portion bonded body, the annular portion having a shape in which a corner of a rectangular shape is bent upward or downward.
PRE-FABRICATED REINFORCEMENT CAGE STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF HOISTING AND ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A pre-fabricated reinforcement cage structure and a method of hoisting and assembling the same are provided. The pre-fabricated reinforcement cage structure comprises: a pre-fabricated reinforcement cage, a plurality of couplers, and a first rebar-mounting frame. The first rebar-mounting frame comprises a first top, a first bottom plate and a first lateral plate. The first top has a plurality of notches formed along an edge of the first top plate, and each of the plurality of the notches is configured to receive a first end portion of the corresponding one of the plurality of rebars in the pre-fabricated reinforcement cage. A first end portion of each of the plurality of rebars abuts against a first top surface of the first bottom plate. Each of the first top plate and the bottom plate is connected to the first lateral plate.
Stucco lath and method of manufacture
An expanded metal lath may be formed by slitting a metal sheet or strip in a defined pattern and subjecting the sheet or coil to a tensile force sufficient to cause the slits to form a plurality of openings. The web bands forming the plurality of openings can include a heavier web bands in areas where fasteners will be used to affix the expanded metal lath to a substrate and lighter web bands in other areas where fasteners will not be used. The expanded metal lath can include stabilizers or selvedge wires at opposed lateral or longitudinal edges to protect the expanded metal lath during shipping and installation. The expanded metal lath may include furring elements integrally formed with the web bands to raise the expanded metal lath off an underlying surface.
Composite structural member, method for manufacturing same, and connecting assemblies for composite structural members
A structural member having a longitudinal axis comprises: an exterior shell member defining an elongated channel with an inner surface; an interior shell member having an outer surface and defining an inner channel, inserted in the elongated channel of the exterior shell member and extending longitudinally therein and defining an inter-shell spacing therebetween; and concrete filling the inter-shell spacing and including at least one reinforcement bar having a longitudinally extending section extending in the inter-shell spacing and being disconnected from the inner surface of the exterior shell member and from the outer surface of the interior shell member.
