TUBULAR SKYLIGHT ASSEMBLY
A tubular skylight assembly. The tubular skylight assembly may include a light tube pitch adapter that may be adjustable to alter an angle between its ends, a cylindrical light tube secured to the light tube pitch adaptor, a collar for securing to the light tube pitch adapter, a flashing surround preferably having an exterior base and a top cover, and a skylight cover having an outer frame and a glass pane. The collar and light tube pitch adapter may reside at least partially within the exterior base of the flashing surround and the skylight cover may be disposed over the top cover of the flashing surround.
Skylight framing system
A skylight assembly, having framing members that define an interior space and rafters that span the interior space between framing members, for supporting panes of glass, each pane having at least one structural glass panel and a thermal panel. The framing members each have a vertical portion and support assembly extending inwardly, including an upper support surface, a lower support surface, and a vertical step therebetween. A glass setting block made of a rubbery material rests upon the upper support surface, vertical step, and lower support surface. The structural glass panels are fully supported by the upper support surface. The thermal panel is supported by the lower support surface, and is sealed to the upper support surface by a spacer, forming an insulating glass unit therewith. The full support of the structural glass, independent of the support of the thermal panel, allows the skylight to be thermally insulated and walkable.
Load bearing spacer for skylight installations
A spacer member, for allowing a walkable skylight with an insulating glass unit to be created with a structural glass panel and a thermal glass panel. The spacer member includes a slab part and a tube part having substantially the same thickness. The tube part is hollow, containing desiccant material for absorbing moisture within the insulating glass unit. The spacer members may be joined together to create a spacer frame. The spacer frame defines an inner rectangular region. When the spacer frame is sealed between the structural glass panels and the thermal glass panel, an air gap is created within the inner rectangular region. The desiccant material effectively removes moisture from air within the air gap.
Safety hatch system
In one embodiment, an electronically controlled hatch system for safe ingress, egress, hazard detection, and methods thereof are provided to reduce or eliminate hazards to personnel, including protection of people above and below a scuttle hatch, access port, skylight or elevated deck. Said hatch system reduces the risk of falls while ascending or descending a ladder through an access port. In certain embodiments, severe weather, hazard, security, and other safety information are detected and transmitted to a central control unit for processing and regulating the opening and closing of a hatch covering the access port and/or raising and lowering a safety railing system based on said information and/or user input. Said hatch system may include an actuator and guides for automatically locking/unlocking and opening/closing a hatch, an actuator and guides for automatically raising/lowering a railing system, safety monitoring detectors/apparatuses, and a centralized controller.
INFLATABLE GOLF STUDIO
A portable inflatable golf studio including an arcuate shaped roof panel, first and second side panels, a floor panel, a front panel, a back panel, a projector screen, a projector, and a tracking system. The first and second side panels are positioned parallel from one another and are attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel, wherein one of the first and second side panels defines a cavity configured to receive a television monitor. The floor panel configured to connect the first and second side panels to one another. The front panel removable attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. The back panel positioned parallel to the front panel and attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. Each panel includes one or more of inflatable sections.
Skylight protective cover
A skylight protective cover is a weather resistant shroud having flashing about a peripheral edge configured to secure about an existing skylight in a manner which provides a space between the shroud and skylight thereby protecting the skylight from the elements.
Skylight protection assembly and method for protecting a skylight
The present disclosure concerns a skylight protection assembly to protect a skylight of a roof. The skylight protection assembly comprises a frame superposable to a mounting surface of the roof to surround at least partially the skylight and securable to the roof, the frame comprising at least one frame member having a roof-engaging portion, a screen-supporting portion and an outer side; a protection screen engageable with the screen-supporting portion of said at least one frame member to define with the frame a skylight protection chamber configured to contain the skylight. The frame member comprises an upper frame member, the outer side of the upper frame member having a water-flowing profile considered in a plane substantially parallel to the mounting surface of the roof. The present disclosure also concerns a method for protecting a skylight of a roof.
Method for covering a gap between windows at the ridge of a double pitch skylight, a double pitch skylight, and a cover element for use therein
The invention relates to covering a gap between windows at the ridge of a double pitch skylight including at least one pair of windows. Each window comprises a frame with a frame top member and the windows of a pair are interconnected by one or more mounting brackets at the ridge. A cover element is arranged so that it interconnects the two windows of the pair on the interior side and extends in parallel with the ridge length direction. One edge of the cover element is inserted in a groove in the top frame member of one window of the pair and another opposite edge is inserted in a corresponding groove in the other window. The cover element is preferably made from an airtight material, is preferably convex on the interior side in the mounted state, and is preferably provided with elastic connecting parts at the two opposite edges.
