Downspout Guard, Kit Therefor, and Method of Assembly
A downspout guard having opposed sidewalls and opposed end walls connected to a top wall, all formed from mesh material, such as metal mesh. Bottom edges of the walls engage a gutter bottom wall to hold the guard in place and forcing water to flow through the guard before entering the downspout. The sidewalls can engage gutter front/back walls, further holding the guard in place. Trapped debris enhances further debris entrapment, even trapping particles smaller than the mesh opening. Optionally, end walls taller than the sidewalls to accommodate obstructions and allow height adjustment by relative angle changes.
Collapsible plug for downspouts
A one-piece shield for temporarily covering the upper inlet of a downspout. The shield includes a single sheet of resilient material, with a pair of tabs that cooperate with a slot in the sheet. The sheet is rolled up to create a tubular portion. One of the tabs is turned into the tubular portion to block the passage into the tubular portion, and the other tab cooperates with the slot to keep the device rolled up, so that the tubular portion blocks entry of debris into the downspout. The device is unrolled after use, and stored flat.
System of components which, assembled, form a rainwater separator for a downpipe
A system of components, which, when assembled, form a rainwater separator for a downpipe is disclosed. The system includes, among other things, a screen for fine filtering of the rainwater. In a first assembly arrangement, the parts are assembled to form a rainwater separator with the screen so that the filtered water can be used as non-potable water for the household. In a second assembly arrangement, the screen is omitted, so that the water obtained from the rainwater separator may be utilized for watering the garden, for example.
Gutter guard barrier
A gutter debris preclusion device for use with a gutter having a support structure being substantially rigid; a screen having a plurality of apertures and being disposed on the support structure; and, a fastener member disposed on the support structure and having a barrier member and a protective film removably attached to the barrier member.
Rake device for cleaning rain gutters and roof valleys
A rake device for cleaning rain gutters and roof valleys which includes a rake which is pivotally secured to an elongated support pole to enable the rake to be positioned in multiple positions with respect to the support pole to reach multiple portions of the rain gutter or the roof valley.
Raised Arc Rain Gutter Debris Preclusion Device
A gutter debris preclusion device for use with a gutter attached to a building, comprising a support structure being substantially rigid and having a recess with a plurality of apertures and a plurality of ribs; a screen having a plurality of apertures and being at least partially disposed on the ribs of the support structure; and, wherein a cross-sectional profile of the screen has an arc shape.
Insert for gutter and downspout
An apparatus for use with a rain gutter and a downspout has a first portion which rests in the rain gutter and includes apertures extending between an exterior and an interior of the insert to allow water to flow from the rain gutter into the interior of the insert when the insert is resting in the rain gutter. The insert further includes a second portion extending downward from the first portion. The second portion includes an interior in fluid communication with the first portion to allow the water to flow from the interior of the first portion through the second portion and into the downspout. The apparatus also includes an adapter plate having an aperture to receive the second portion of the insert such that the second portion of the insert can extend through the adapter plate into the downspout when the apparatus is in the rain gutter.
