A fascia board installation accessory includes a plurality of planar segments configured to form a substantially U-shaped configuration and is suitably sized and shaped to fit about a bottom edge of the existing fascia board, and an anchor segment extending outwardly away from the U-shaped configuration and directly abutted against one of an existing roof rafter and an existing roof lookout. The anchor segment is statically and integrally connected to the U-shaped configuration. The U-shaped configuration has a first centrally registered longitudinal axis. The anchor segment has a second centrally registered longitudinal axis oriented non-parallel to the first centrally registered longitudinal axis. The anchor segment has a plurality of apertures juxtaposed side-by-side and centrally aligned along the second centrally registered longitudinal axis.

OFF-RIDGE ROOF VENTILATION DEVICE
20230228092 · 2023-07-20 ·

An off-ridge roof ventilation device for placing on an opening of a roof deck. The ventilation device comprises an elongated main hood with a curved shape. The right end of the main hood is closed by a right-side panel, and the left end of the main hood is closed by a left-side panel. The main hood comprises a perforated top face and a venting opening on a bottom face. A throat panel is placed on the bottom face of the main hood in a manner to reduce the venting opening. A perforated interior panel is placed between the top face of the main hood and the throat panel to eliminate wind driven rain and/or snow even in high wind situations. The perforations are preferably designed as mini-louvers, wherein the mini-louvers of the main hood and the mini-louvers of the throat panel comprise the same shape and count the same number.

Devices and systems for ventilation of solar roofs
11543155 · 2023-01-03 ·

This application relates to the ventilation of a solar roof. For example, a solar roof can include a solar roof tile and a spacer, batten or other ventilating components to space the solar roof tile from the roof deck, and provide ventilation to the solar roof tile, for reduced operating temperatures and improved efficiency in electricity generation.

VENTILATED SOLAR PANEL ROOF
20220416719 · 2022-12-29 ·

A ventilated solar panel system mounted on a roof of a building (1), comprising a plurality of joists (12, 112) arranged substantially normal to an upper ridge (14) of the roof, and extending from the upper ridge (14) to a lower region of the roof, and a set of rectangular solar panels (2, 13), arranged on and supported by the joists (12, 112). The system further comprises a set of electrical fans (25), each fan (25) being arranged in the lower region of the roof and being aligned with one of the joists (12, 112), wherein each fan (25) is configured to create a flow of air towards the ridge (14), and wherein each joist (12, 112), in an end facing one of the fans (25), is formed with a dividing edge (32, 132) configured to divide the flow of air into two sub-flows (26a, 26b), a first sub-flow (26a), directed to a first side of the joist (12, 112), and a second sub-flow (26b) directed to a second side of the joist (12, 112), opposite to the first side.

SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING TILES OVER A SURFACE
20220416715 · 2022-12-29 ·

The present disclosure relates to a system for mounting solar panel tiles (or other tiles/panels) over a roof (surface). The system includes mounting frames provided with holes at the bottom for fixing them parallelly over the roof. Bolting members and overhang members are attached to two opposite sides of the tiles to form a tile assembly. The bolting members and overhang members of the tile assembly are provided with a set of holes to allow coupling of the tile assembly between two adjacent mounting frames using bolt/screws. Further, sealing agents are provided on the edges of the tiles as well as the tile assemblies, thereby making the system aesthetically pleasing and leakproof. Another set of vents are provided on the base frames, to allow cables to pass through them, and provide proper ventilation beneath the tiles.

Modular vent for metallic roofing

A vent assembly is adapted to be installed over an aperture in a roof to enable ventilation. The vent assembly has a roofing panel attachable to a roof and a vent cap with attaches over the roofing panel and prevents precipitation from entering the assembly. The roofing panel has a flat panel section, an aperture perforating the panel section, a fence bounding the aperture, and a runoff cricket formed by one corner of the triangularly-shaped fence. The vent cap has a chamfered triangular shape matching that of the fence. The vent cap includes a runoff cover and interior air passages to enable air to pass from an attic space through the roofing panel and out through the vent cap. The distinctive shape of the vent assembly provides advantages in easily installing the assembly to a variety of roofs, both metallic and non-metallic.
